I always get service with a smile.
I know karaage is just deep fried chicken. But their chicken is ALWAYS coated perfectly.
Large servings.
And i really enjoy the potato on the plate. Something different.

Well at least the dog liked it, I guess that's something.
Waited 20 minutes for a cold under-cooked meal. If I didn't want a customer to return, that's the dish I would have served.

If it wasn't for this place, gentrified Bowen hills would have remained a baron dead-zone of questionable IGA poultry and sloppy subway sandwiches. Tipplers tap are getting lazy with their wings and I ain't walking that far coz if I did, I might as well succumb to overpriced fish sticks and gringo friendly burritos. Haru's quality takes me back to the enchantment of Kyoto and what about dat price tho?

Most of the menu is good. I like their chicken karaage. Don't order their ramen. It's just instant noodles with some veggies top.
