Green Grocer Sandwich Bar

UPDATE: Changing my review from a 1 to a 4 because I called the manager and they were very apologetic. They explained that there's new staff and that they never put butter on toast. They assured me they'll talk to the staff immediately and provide a full refund. Went to get a refund and they had assured me they have upskilled their staff and that this won't happen again. They also gave my friend and I a free coffee. I appreciate them owning up to the mistake and providing good customer service. I went to Green Grocer a few days ago and ordered the avocado toast. I told the staff I can't eat dairy. They assured me that the avocado smash is dairy free. I also asked for no butter as I have a dairy allergy. I noticed the staff didn't write it on the docket but agreed to no butter. After eating the toast I started to feel unwell and had to have the day off. They had put butter on it and I saw greasy butter on the packaging.

Had a really poor experience, went to get coffee during happy hour. People who ordered after me got their coffee. Then when i checked for my coffee after 15 min, the girl was so rude to tell me that this is how happy hours work. she also said that i should not be asking the girls to hurry up. While i was just checking on my order very politely . never going back. poor customer and very rude.

The salads here are always so inconsistent... you never know if it will be good or bad. Sometimes you'll pay $8+ for a container of lettuce and nothing else. They are quite 'conservative' with their portion sizes too... Really disappointing, because when they actually give you a good serving and take care to ensure all ingredients make it into the container, its quite nice.
