The Coffee Club

My friend and I dine here quite regularly. There was a small problem with one of our meals (onion still in it when requested otherwise), but the staff were so incredibly understanding and quick on their feet it made what potentially could have been a sour note into a real highlight of staff excellence. Thank you so much, and we will both be back again. :)

One star for the staff who were friendly. We said after that it was the worst breakfast we’ve ever eaten. We had the big breakfast. We were told 30 minute wait, it was way more than that. The big breakfast came out looking extremely bland in a pasta bowl making it difficult to eat. The bacon was sooooo greasy and partly so hard I couldn’t eat it. The poached medium eggs were like hard boiled, the sausages were not nice, tomato over cooked and the hash brown so dry it stuck in our throats. I had to clean my teeth when I got home to get rid of the grease. We won’t be going back. It takes a lot for me to give a bad review, and I truely could have said more. 🙁

I didn't even bother with this place after having the waiter throw a menu onto my table in disgust after I asked to look at the menu. All I wanted was a coffee and I was treated like a second class citizen. Not even a greeting by this man. They are just after dollars and skimp on service. Go to the mediterranean place up the street where coffee is .50c cheaper and better quality with excellent service. I never complain but this man was very rude.

Don't go there, a waste of money and bad service. This is what happened. My wife and I went to have meal before going to see a movie and upon arrival saw a couple and a single female inside and two females outside. We were attended too quickly, did not get the usual bottle of water. Ordered an entree of chips and aoeli, the chips were half cooked, got two bottles zero coke with glasses of ice. I ordered the grill barramundi and my wife got a pasta dish and two more Cokes. Well she gave us the Cokes and left the original two bottles, didn't give us fresh glasses. The food came and the size of my fish, well a toddlers shoe would have been bigger and chips were half cooked again . I did not see value for money and my wifes pasta was bland with so much pasta sauce. I could have cooked better. Overall the food was so very average. Our plates were left there until we left. I didn't say anything as it would have been pointless because when we paid she didn't ask if we enjoyed the food. I have been to other coffee clubs before and this is the worst. We should have gone McDonalds it would have been better.
