Friendly owners and chef, relatively quick service and freshly prepared food.
The quality of food was very good, the taste was very homely - and this coming from a true blue India-grown guy..
Particularly loved the beef bhuna and the rotis, which were amazingly soft and fluffy..
Also got a complimentary saffron and jeera rice with it.. really appreciated.
Sad that the place is facing closure, we could do with homely food joints like this..
i'd definitely go there a few more times before they eventually close.

I visited Brisbane and was there for about 3 weeks. There was not a single evening, when I missed dinner at Kanta's curry. The green pea curry, hot gulab jamuns, different varieties of parathas were awesome.

Visited Kanta's Curry place for dinner. It was just a horrible experience.No serviettes or water on the table, tasteless naan's and bad curries.
Will never visit again nor recommend anyone else.

Great Indian restaurant. You don't go here for the decorations or fancy stuff. You go here for the awesome tasting food. Highly recommended.

Kantas has very good curries.. lamb saag & butter chicken are very good. They also do incredible naan bread.

We love the food here - authentic, flavoursome and cheap - but prefer to takeaway as not much atmosphere
