Customer service is horrific. Food is hit and miss. If I had more option with my dietary needs would never get food here. I pre order on the app and pick up myself instore and walk with the bag upright to my seat and yet food is squished to one end. Also arrive a solid 5 to ten minutes after the pick up time yet it is still never ready for me to grab and staff never polite or friendly and don't communicate what the hold up is. On one instance I asked 3 different staff for my order, 20 minutes later I had to get cranky before someone actually grabbed my order which had been ready for some time. There was no apology or acknowledgement for their error. Never had a great experience here. I attempt to leave a review in the app afterwards and it never let's it submit! I have been to GYG at Northlakes on the regular and they are absolutely amazing!

Have been coming to GYG Chermside for about 5 years, however the last several months it has been a rather ordinary experience both food and service. I order the same thing almost on a weekly basis and I actually cannot remember the last time it has been correct. Today the spicy chicken mini bowl didn't even have any chicken in it despite the sticker on the container confirming the order. Last week no coriander or onion despite asking for it and being on the sticker, the week before I got the mini burrito even though I asked for the bowl. I actually spoke to the regional manager that was in store the day I got the burrito and understand mistakes happen and told him not to worry about it and was happy Jose amended the order quickly, but this is becoming a joke. The staff never read your order back so you have to double check your docket and intercept any mistakes at this point OR you have to unpack your takeaway bag and double check you received what you have ordered. I take my lunch back to work and so many times I am eating an incorrect order because I don't have the time to take it back. The music is often so loud you are screaming your order. Once a loyal customer but now Really Disappointed and getting sick of wasting my money in this store.

My son and I love GYG and have eaten at a few different locations in the past including at Chermside. Today, honestly, had to be the most disappointing visit I have experienced from the brand. The food was very mediocre with little to no taste and was barely warm. Both my coffee and my sons hot chocolate were also warm and tasted like they used very cheap quality ingredients. For me the most disappointing part of the whole experience was the customer service or really lack of. The woman that served us seemed so genuinely disinterested and there was no air of enthusiasm what so ever about having to serve us. Even when delivering our food she hurriedly places it in front of us and walked off before I could even get a thank you out. As someone who operates a hospitality venue myself this was all very disappointing, especially the service provided and I really hope the young woman who served us isn't in a management/leadership role as she clearly doesn't have the skills or qualities of a good leader.

Your teams needs communication and need to communicate up the customers. I waited a total of 20mins for a quesadilla which is the most simple order. At least 5 people who were served after me had received their order. I went to your staff member to ask how long it would and they refused to come to me or show that they were pay attention to customers. No apologies was given on the wait. The staff member giving the food to customers had the worst customer service. She was not attentive to her job. Walked around clueless multiples times as food started to build up to be sent to customers. Management really need to get involved and have wait times limited. Multiples times this has happen and I refuse to use your service at Chermside. I prefer to drive the extra 10 mins to another gyg.

We tried to visit Chermside GYG yesterday. We were at the store at 8:45 pm to see if they can accommodate us. and They were like, as we are 16 of us and its closing time they can not accommodate us. I thought it was very rude of them to say "Not possible" as they closes at 9 pm, Staff there seems to be in hurry to close the store and head home. they had enough time to make 16 meals. We ended up going to Stafford GYG, Staff were so good, Although they were about to close, they were very welcoming and made us fresh and very delicious meals.
