Tried their dinner buffet last weekend, the chicken wings with BBQ sauce and the special fried noodle impressed me a lot!!! The black bean beef were nice too! Will be back again.

The food was horrible. Spent $46 & recieved 2 containers of food that had maximum of 2 tablespoons of sauce, Satay chicken was watery and flavourless, the "Special" fried rice had no flavour and we counted 9 tiny pieces of carrot and 12 peas and small crumbles of egg with NO small shrimp or red sliced pork on top like the expected traditional Chinese X-Large Special fried rice, the Lemon chicken was soggy and there was no sauce to pour over it. We miss the old owners, they were consistent and KNEW how to cook Chinese food! We will never go there again.

Ordered takeaway last night, found out when we got there that there was new owners, been going there 20 years. Very disappointed ,used to be the best Chinese around now I think it’s the worst, food had no flavour, seafood dishes had 3 muscles and a couple of prawns and just plain noodles, Mongolian lamb small and no spice, ordered fried rice but didn’t get it ,told it would be another 20 min after we ordered 1 and half hours earlier. Ordered combination omelette. Got something with no taste, 3 baby prawns a few pees. I have had many omelettes with real eggs, what i got from Gum Do was uniformed in depth (thin) Tasteless rubber that was cut into squares. This is the first ever omelette that i have had that left me still hungry.

We ordered take away and were told it would be 15 min. 1.5 hours later we received cold, disgusting food. No gravy on the omelette, no vegetables in the chicken chow mein, all
entrees fried to death and inedible. We'll never be back.

I ordered delivery and the estimated time continuously changed and we received the food 1hr and 20mins after ordering. The dim sims were shocking, Mongolian beef was ok but chicken cashew had about 3 pieces of chicken in it.

Absolutely disgusting meal last night. Waited 1 hour for the worst Chinese we’ve ever had. Ordered spicy chicken and a spicy beef. Must be new owners - would NOT recommend !!!

Gum Do just isn't the same. Wontons were dry with hardly any meat, fried rice with no shrimp or chicken like it used to have. Doesn't live up to what it used to- must be new owners. Honey chicken was nice though.
