The Lobby Bar

Lobby Bar had an absolutely beautiful interior, located just next to the lobby of The Calile. Due to covid they streamlined their menu to only a select few options, nevertheless it was still extremely delicious. For lunch we had the housemade Salmon gravlax, charcuterie Brie cheese plate. The charcuterie was my fave with an excellent selection of beautifully cured meats which complemented the selection of breads and crackers perfectly.

If you enjoy dining in a prestigious hotel lobby where you feel you’re having breakfast and relaxing at a Mediterranean holiday destination and you don’t mind paying a bit for it then this is for you. However a budget breakfast is what you’re looking for, then this place is not for you. Sadly, our reception wasn’t as warm and friendly but our personal waiter saved the day. Very friendly and accommodating. We ordered two breakfasts, one with three items and toast, one with four items and toast. Unfortunately they left out an item on one of the breakfast and to their credit they rectified the issue immediately without a fuzz.

Walk past this place so many times and always thought we should try! @lobbybarbrisbane 🤩 . Welcomed in by warm, friendly staff and the atmosphere is bustling with groups of people having a good time. We settled on the Seasonal salad, the Lobby Breakfast, shoestring Fries, Iced latte and a long black coffee ☕ . The salad was really good with walnuts, wilted witlof, Gorgonzola cheese and loads of croutons... Very yummy 🤤 . The Lobby Breakfast was good too with the eggs done perfectly 👌🏼👌🏼 and we loved the shoestring Fries, something very simple but done right, tastes soooo good 👍🏼👍🏼
