Corinda Tavern

Has the potential to be an awesome venue but is let down by a lack of staff on. The food is great though and the new gaming room is a major step up from what is used to be. An improvement on customer service wouldn’t go amiss too as we waited almost 45 mins to get dinner served; the beer served at some point was very obviously hazy and tasted awful yet the staff member serving it was very unreceptive to that fact of the matter.

Corinda Tavern is recommended as a comfortable, clean and pleasant venue for a relaxing meal in the dining room or verandah. Staff so attentive and helpful. Prices and meals excellent. Enjoyed wholeheartedly a guiness pie and Barramundi dish with great wine from a well balanced list to select from. #1.

This was a surprising gem to find for a last minute stop in dinner with the family! We had a vegetarian antipasto platter that was the most spectactular bargain of the century for an entree, three delicious cheeses and a range of Mediterranean bits and pieces. Kids meals were all excellent, as was our chicken and pizza. Not to mention that Thursday is apparently top shelf for $8 night AND kids eat free, so the whole extravaganza was a bit of a bargain really. The setting was relaxed and cool on the deck even though it was a very hot day. The service was impeccable, (offers of tastings, prompt polite service, knowledge of the menu and drinks and general happiness and good cheer - thank you!) Decent range of beers on tap. The kids and I all asked if we could go back, and I think we will next time we are passing through, even though there are about 100 pubs between us and there. Well done!
