Broncos Leagues Club

Arrived for a birthday booking but they had given my table away then didn't even show me where our 20+ person group could sit we had to find it ourselves. After waiting 20 minutes with no service I went up and asked a waiter twice for menus. We got menus but that was it never told how to order etc. I had to again find someone to ask. 2 meals came 40 minutes after everyone else finished eating and when asked about it they just said they were busy. Not good enough. Bar attendants were great though, friendly and fast.

If I could give less I would. How sad that times have changed.. the food was raw, there was no dressing on the salad,the large Serve of cutlets wasn't even enough to feed one person who had a gastric sleeve!.You had to go to the cafe for a decent drink and zero atmosphere on game night. The restaurant TVs had no sound on and the receptionist kept making announcements all night. Won't be back and they can keep their 3 yr membership

Very rarely, if ever will review - however the experience of our lunch was so poor I feel compelled to do so. Both my parents are long time members of the club (we took them there for old times sake) - it’s a place I had grown up going to back in the 90’s and 00’s. Needless to say, this is no longer that club - food quality was absolutely atrocious for all four of our meals, the service amateur (if not rude), and the quality of the environment about as sterile as it gets. How has this happened? Fine if it’s a cheap pub eat however this was a $200 meal. Could not recommend less - am concerned now about the people I have suggested the club to over the years.

What a let down!! My family and I were so looking forward to our first meal here at the club, being Bronco supporters but never lived in Brisbane we put this on our to-do list.... we won't be back. The older lady that greeted us at at 'Grills" was abrupt and very unwelcoming, the young staff were pleasant and couldn't complain about their service, despite not knowing what the roast of the day was or what lite of mid strength beers they had were...at least they were helpful in finding out in very friendly and efficient manner. Food was average at best, ok I am biased because I am also a Broncos shareholder, let me be more truthful...it was rubbish! The restaurant itself is nice, as too the restrooms (clean and tidy) and space and ambience. The pokies are separated so you don't have that annoying noise in the background. There are way too many other options other than the Broncs to spend our hard earnt money on for a nice family night out, sorry we won't be back....

On arrival to The Grill we were told to wait to be seated even though restaurant was empty. The waiter asked if we had a booking and when told no the waiter took a moment to look around at the empty restaurant to work out which table wasn't booked. In the time we were in the restaurant there would have been maybe 10 tables filled the rest was empty, why the pretence asking if we had a booking when clearly it didn't matter. If you are not a Broncos club member your meal is $10.00 more expensive than if you pay $2.00 for membership. So our total order was $92.00 with membership $62.00 - FOR LUNCH. The food was average at best!! We will not be back even with the $2.00 membership!!!
