First time at D&D for Brekky. Great atmosphere and more formal than I probably expected, but has a fantastic menu with some great options. I got the drifting woman and was rustic, delicious and all round good comfort food. They take their coffee seriously here and I gave the signature Driftwood blend a round- was not disappointed- see pics for blend characteristics. Overall great experience and highly recommend- I also get the impression I probably just snuck in and it likely gets busy here so might need to book in peak times.

I have visited D&D a few times now for coffees, lunch and breakfast. The food has always been amazing and priced fairly for what I received. As for the service I have always found staff to be nothing but friendly and accommodating. Great atmosphere. Will continue to dine here.

This place is the most amazing cafe in Brisbane, maybe even Australia. The food is incredible and it's only made better by the atmosphere and amazing staff members. My wife and I have been for a High Tea and also for breakfast where we had the D&D Double Decker. You cannot fault this place on anything. I will continually tell everyone I know about D&D, because it is worthy of more than one visit.

Stumbled upon Dandelion & Driftwood on Google while searching for High Tea and we were so pleased with the experience. On entry, we were greeted by this lovely staff member, who escorted us to our table. Once seated, another staff member approached us and provided us with a hot drink menu each. There were four different options to choose from, one being their standard high tea and the rest accompanied with alcohol of your choice. As neither of us felt like drinking, we ended up selecting the standard set. The menu was quite diverse and elaborate, and had a quite wide range. I ordered their dandelion blend while my partner had their peony white tea. I must say, for someone who has more coffee than tea, I was really impressed with my choice. It was rich but not overpowering and had this faint and lingering taste to it. It was perfectly brewed and tasted really refreshing. I personally preferred the tea without any milk and thought the tea was delicious enough on its own. The white tea on the other hand was much lighter in flavor and offered this sweetness, which I thought was easy on the taste buds. My partner loved it. Food wise, like displayed in the pictures, it had a good variety and the presentation was fantastic and exquisite. Out of everything we had, we both decided that the croissant stuffed with Queen’s paste and Brie, the creamy chicken sandwich, the frittatas, the macron, the scones and jam were our favorite. We especially loved the filled croissants and sandwich. The scones were good but to me were sitting more on the dry side instead of buttery and crumbly. We both thought the top tier of dessert was nice but neither of us have a sweet tooth and had wished there had been more savory choices. Service wise, we thought the whole experience was quite enjoyable and all staff were friendly and attentive. It would have been nicer if there had been less people and more privacy though. We would love to come back again and try their breakfast. Thank you.

Food was amazing. Coffee good. Service while friendly was very slow lucky we had a couple hours up our sleeve or we would have been in trouble. Beautiful cafe overall

Fairly disappointing experience this morning, the high tea was underwhelming especially for the price. $55 basically for a scone, cupcake and few finger sandwiches. We were not told that an ice latte was not included so had to pay an additional $7.70 on top of that. The ice lattes did not come with the second coffee shot as requested so were quite weak, my friend asked for a mug of coffee but got a cup, and the service was quite slow. All in all small issues but they added up to a disappointing and expensive experience. We have been before and the main meals have been great, high tea is definitely not worth it though.

D&D is such a pretty venue. The even have a private dining area that can fit upto 12people. Loved the fiber sandwiches. Can't wait to host a ladies high tea here!
