Great coffee followed by a beautifully cooked quality rump steak, chips and vege lunch. All was fresh and very tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful and the venue modern, roomy and comfortable. We were over from the north side of Brisbane for the day and very glad we found this little gem.

Haven’t been to the Belmont for ages and headed down tonight. Wow place has had a massive facelift! Had a 400g rump cooked to perfect medium rare! The Staff were friendly and attentive. Ill definitely be back! Thanks guys!

We had my husbands surprise 60th birthday party/function last night at the Belmont, and wow! What an amazing night! The Belmont went above and beyond in every way to ensure our 50 guests had the best night possible. Catering - food and bar service was so great and really affordable. Totally recommend the Belmont Tavern 👍👍

An average experience on my 1st visit. I must give it another go though. My salmon was delicious however it sat upon some lovely chat potatoes that were overloaded with a huge amount of sour cream. It resulted in my salmon being covered in the sour cream which changed the taste and spoiled the crisp crust. Next time it will be sour cream on the side. We ordered coffees and hot chocs to finish the meal and I requested my coffee extra hot. Sadly it arrived luke warm as did everyone else's. The staff kindly offered to remake the drinks and we received fresh drinks only to find they also were not hot. Maybe the bar tender needs to do a course as a barista. To be fair it was an enjoyable night with our group of 12 and the staff were very friendly.

went to the belmont tavern today for lunch with my parents. my wife and i travelled fron the nth side , my parents from the south side. have eaten here a year before so thought we go again. big mistake. worst meal i have ever eaten. did not eat all of my meal. my wife didnt eat all of her meal - was supposed to be be roast of some sort of meat . tough so she only ate the veggies. my mother had the falafel ,they where rock hard.my father had fish which was ok. onion rings where shocking full of oil. even the cup of tea after wasn`t great . in all fairness they did offer a free meal at another time but really couldn`t be bothered to spend the time to drive back there

We had a lovely meal at the Belmont. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was fresh, tasty and well presented. It was also great to have a children's play area for our little one.
We will definitely be back.
