First impressions are great. This is a nice outdoor beer garden connected to the Waterloo Bay Hotel. Plenty of space, trees, open sky a great place to spend the evening. The food and drink ordering system on the other hand was a pain, it uses QR codes, and is phone based. Probably OK if you know what you are looking for. Tried to find a drink for my partner, spending time swiping a phone when I really just wanted to talk with friend was put off.

The bar and outside area is attractive, well designed and has a comfortable feeling. The food is at best okay, but the service is shocking. The business focus seems to be on families with young children (nothing wrong with that as I've been there myself) and can be extremely lucrative, BUT stressed out Moms and Dads who are just happy to get a five minute break are usually the last to complain about low standards in food and service and that is definitely a slippery slope. If this place is to really succeed and be a proper place for adults (and families) to gather and enjoy the offerings then it needs to improve. The biggest thing wrong is the service, disinterested servers at the bar, servers bringing wrong food to tables, dirty uncleaned tables, over flowing bins in the toilets with tissues all over the floor, etc. Please don't see this as just a moan, I honestly would like the establishment to see my feedback as an opportunity to learn/improve. As a local man I would like nothing more than to have a first class pub/bar/restaurant/entertainment place to go to, unfortunately so far this is not it. I wish you all the best.

Let down by the food and service (steak was great but everything else ordinary; ordered salmon with quinoa and it came out with potatoes instead with no explanation; parmigianas came out after everyone else had finished eating). No apology offered. Sad because this is a beautiful space for families. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Overpriced meals for below average food. The meals at our table came out over the space of hair an hour, noone got to eat together. My chili and prawn pasta was missing the chili. My entree, a pint of prawns ie half a dozen prawns in a glass, came out well after my main. Seriously how hard is it? Walking past the kitchen chefs were yelling at staff, perhaps they should stop the yelling and communicate as adults. Bar staff were great however were seriously let down by an unorganised below average kitchen. The only highlight of the evening was catching up with friends. Had I chance to eat there again I'll choose to stay at home and cook something myself, at least I know it will be better and served together.

Few times for group lunch. Lovely service by staff. Food great. Wings omg. So gooood . Wednesday special! It wasn't until afterwards I was retold of the mess left by my crew today. I'm so sorry. We had to bail back to work and I didn't make sure of usual tidy up. We will be back and be better customers. 😊
