Slice Woodfired Pizza

Oh, I dunno about that Christopher. I've now ordered from "Slice" a few times, and we think the pizzas are awesome!! Great combinations of flavours, and they're right in their claims about perfecting the dough... I still got a nice crispy crust when eating a leftover piece cold the next day. The improvement in both quality and service since the new management took over is noticeable to say the least! Next on the agenda for our household is to eat our way through the pasta menu :-)

Awful pizza! Brought 2 pizzas - country chicken and Portofino and the cheese garlic pizza and none of them had any flavour. The 2 pizzas were soggy, doughy and not cooked properly and the chicken pizza was burnt on the edges. The meats tasted like they were frozen. I only tried this place because I saw it one day when we were at the cafe across the road. We will not be back, we spent $46 and yet the $5 dominos pizzas are better quality and have more flavour. We also had to wait over 45 mins for the order which, if the pizzas were awesome you wouldn't mind waiting but for us to wait for that long for substandard food is just ridiculous

I took my girlfriend down there for her birthday to check out the new ownership of this pizza shop. We couldn't believe the improvement, we had the best pizzas we've ever tasted. Not only were the pizzas excellent but the service was great. We will be back for more. Thanks for the free dessert as well :)

I am the owner at Slice, It is very disheartening to see the reviews where people go to such lengths to write and comment on there experience and food purchase. No one contacted us? No one asked for a refund or if we would be prepared to offer them another pizza? I will definitely put my hand up and say sometimes we fail.. For this im sorry, if the kitchen receives over 20 orders in 20 mins were flooded, this does happen. Just the other night, this happened and the oven decided to become temperamental. If your running a woodfired pizza shop and you have customers waiting and the orders are non-stop and your oven has an emotional break-down this is a difficult situation to manage. However, yes more staff better preparation for these moments and we 100% try our best and if your not happy, we will refund or your next order is on us. We have been running Slice Woodfired Pizza now for 9 months, and in that time our customer base has tripled, we have introduced ribs. and the quality of our product is excellent.. If on the rare occasion we burn an edge or you dont like the toppings, which are bought everyday, perfectly fresh always.. We would happily refund or replace your food order. Wood fired pizza is an art, and the pizzas are not perfectly round, they are cooked by rotating at least 5 times during the cooking process and the edges are not like Dominos.. Which these 2 reviews like to compare us to. I do know for a fact!! Our local competition are scared as hell as to our success as we hear everyday, and see everyday new customers driving from as far as North Brisbane to collect their food.. Maybe? These reviews are genuine? Maybe they are competition? Google simply allows anyone to write a post with no control or checking process.. If you have any issue I 100% guarantee to refund or replace your order if you speak to myself or the manager. If you are a restaurant and want to attack a restaurant, why don't you simply do more marketing instead of writing defamatory posts.. If you are a customer, and you have an issue... Please talk to us we will happily oblige you. This is a genuine and sincere post and we do strive on a daily basis to provide the quickest and most beautiful woodfired pizza possible.. BEWARE..The ingredients on all 3 pizzas we ordrered had no flavour at all. Even trying to bring to back to life with salt did nothing. It was bland like pensioner food. The pizzas must be stored frozen because the pizzas were too soggy and wet. If you read the reviews they don't even even sound genuine. I agree with someone elses review $5 coles pizzas are better.. TRULY AWFUL.
