Fantasia

Ordered wonton noodle soup on an outing with my mum. We suspected the wontons were off as they smelt really funny and tasted sour (by way of biting in to them and then putting back in to the bowl). We approached the counter with our meals and the lady ushered us to the side and grabbed a utensil to take and eat a wonton from my mums bowl. We were given dimsims as a replacement and my mum asked for a store credit for next time. Once sitting back down parallel to the store, I see our two bowls sitting at the front and 2 staff members eating from them. A bit scary knowing that we are facing a global pandemic, hygiene needs to be at A1 and my mother was sick with a cold on the day.

I had reported the hygiene incident to Fantasia who were prompt in investigating my concerns and assured me that the incident where staff had seriously breeched their policies and procedures had been taken with all seriousness as it should have been. After corresponding with Fantasia’s company Director, I’m more than happy to continue frequenting the Fantasia stores for my favourite dish. Restitutions in the form of food and drinks were offered but declined so I’m not posting this because they gave me something. I really am happy with the way it was dealt with.

'FAILURE TO ERADICATE RATS AND COCKROACHES'...Fantasia owner Yuk Lin Wong (Judy Wong) pleaded guilty and was convicted and fined $15,000 for FAILING to take measures to eradicate rats and cockroaches AFTER a council inspection. Breaches also included food storage, hygiene of workers, temperature of food, maintenance and duties for running a food business. . Yuk claims she cares about her customers but her failure to obey a council direction to get rid of the rat and cockroach infestation is prime evidence of just how much she does NOT care about the customer. Be very careful, There are strong racist overtones at play here. They talk behind customers backs. If she doesn't like the way you look, she might rudely ignore you and or sabotage your meal like she did to me. Yuk uses trolls online to attack anybody who tries to reveal the truth or complain about service or food. Absolutely pathetic, should not be allowed to trade. Don't bother.
