Jamaica Blue Carindale

Ordered the steak sandwich - steak was like leather, which probably paid off, as I had to take the steak out to pull apart & found they had cooked it with the plastic still on it, not sure if I had eaten any. I asked for toast instead of Ciabatta & got 2 different types of bread. When I showed the girl who cooked it, she argued that the bread was the same, how could you not see the different shapes, it is pretty noticeable from my photo. Then she was adamant she had taken all the glad wrap off the steak. The staff are very rude & ignore you when waiting to be served & continue talking amongst themselves. I won't be returning. Food is expensive as well.

Terrible service. The girl who took our order was polite enough but on top of the server I’ll never be going back. When the girl who served us was coming over with our tea she was spilling it as she walked and then continued to spill it even more into our bags and on the chair and table as she placed it down. Incredible that she didn’t notice at all on the way over that it was streaming onto the floor. But even after we told her “you’re spilling the tea” she didn’t apologise and started to walk away to chat with the cashier again. We had to ask her to bring more serviettes over and clean up our bags and table ourselves. Honestly what was the most irritating was that she acted so unfriendly and didn’t care about what she did at all. The food was mid.

Service left much to be desired. The front display window does not have any prices listed, which is annoying, so we had to ask the server, but no one even acknowledged us for several minutes. After we ordered and sat down I realised we had no table water so again I went to ask about that. The person I talked to was not overly friendly and made it seem like a chore while I stood there awkwardly. Food is average and a bit pricey.

Had horrible experience here, the manager would not accept our EU Digital covid certs as he wanted Australian ones, we tried to explain that we are tourists who are double jabbed and showed him our certs, but he wouldn't listen and asked us to leave , we then had to wait 10 mins to be refunded for the food we'd paid for. Very humiliating for overseas visitors , I have written a complaint to the company but no one had replied to me yet
