Noodle Box

Terrible. I ordered Nasi goreng and the Lady asked me if I wanted more meat and I said no it normally has plenty ! Got home with my food. No shrimp just loads of rice with sauce and veges, hardly any meat! Waste of my money !!! Guys please don't come here terrible experience !!! Average tasting food. The best noodle box is in sunny bank!! Trust me.

3 strikes and out. Worst Noodlebox I've ever been to. 3 bad experiences with this place. On 1 previous occasion the vegies were overcooked and too soft. On the other occasion there was way too much sauce. 3rd time, i didnt even get to see my noodle. I was waiting on RACQ truck while the order was being made. Advised both the chef and the lady at the counter that I'd pick up the box soon, as my roadside assistance had arrived. Once i was done with racq, i forgot about the noodles and left home which is around the corner, literally 2 mins drive. When realised, I called them right away at 8.55 and told them that im on my way. The lady went ballistic and said that they were already closed (excuse me, if youre closed how come you just answered the phone). Anyways, she obviously didnt want to wait, even for 60 secs as i was so close. She finally offered to leave the box at the Kebab shop nextdoor. When i arrived, the kebab shop was closed, clearly she knew about it. Couldve left it outside the door if not anything. Cant give 1/2 star, soo giving 1 star. Service - poor; rude and appalling. persistent on offering ingredients that i clearly didnt want. Food - below average Ambience - broken stool near entrance been there for weeks with no warning signs. The is one bad apple for the Noodlebox chain. Shocked if these guys are even allowed to run the franchise when theyre ruining the brand name.

Love Noodle Box but not this one! While I was ordering the guy answered his mobile and continued to have a conversation on his phone while serving me. When he made my food he did not have a hair net or hat or anything on. The food that I received was NOT what I ordered, it was something totally different and tasted awful, I couldn't eat it. However I may have received a different meal to what I ordered as he TOOK A PHONE CALL IN THE MIDDLE OF SERVING ME, THEREFORE PUT THROUGH A TOTALLY DIFFERENT MEAL TO WHAT I WANTED. I don't know, but I will never go here again.

This place is horrible. I have never had a good experience here. The food is inconsistent. Ive had nights where it tasted like medicine. Ordering on the phone is horrendous. The lady owner is so rude. We have tried theasthma two nights to order over the phone, amd no answer. They never keep to their word with timing. I turn up 10 minutes after they say, and they usually haven't even started. If they offer extra meat and you say no, you'll be lucky to get any meat at all. I've given them too many chances as I love noodle box, but like everyone says, this store needs to close its door or sell to someone who cares about their customers.

The owner of this place pretty much bullies you into spending more money. Won't take several "NO"s for an answer when you refuse to upgrade your meal or buy a drink and is not upfront about how much money either additional item costs. Completely unprofessional and greedy. As for the food... It was rather flavourless and seemed like a few ingredients were missing (e.g. no egg in the Pad Thai). I walked away from this experience feeling scammed. I'm never going back to this particular Noodle Box again.

I'm a local so I go to the village all the time. So this place, I gave more than 3 strikes to..still disappointed. Most of the food is bland; usually have to add a few more sauces when I get home. Waits can be long, not unreasonable but borderline. Once went in & one staff member in the place was mopping. Stopped to serve me, then they went back to mopping. Didn't start my order until finishing the cleaning job. It's a great franchise, this store is not.

Against my better judgement I returned to the local Noodle Box in Upper Mt Gravatt to give them 1 more shot on Friday.. I shouldve trusted that judgement though as I unfortunately had yet another poor experience! The 2 times I've been there in the last 2-3 months they've made my order incorrectly. There wasnt even any special requests, it was just a standard order for a Mongolian Beef, which I later discovered tastes way too similar to a Teriyaki dish I had there before, 'Mongolian Beef' cooked in a 'Teriyaki sauce' is not a traditional authentic 'Mongolian Beef' dish. Its a ripoff & disgrace. On Friday when I gave them the chance to redeem themselves, they quickly reminded me why we should all stay away, ordered a 'Honey Soy Chicken' received a somewhat tastless dry dish with beef innit.. ? How does this even happen? Quite ridiculous if you ask me! You guys are giving the Noodle Box brand a bad wrap! Pick your game up if you wish to stay in business.. I know I wont be back again thats for sure.

This noodlebox is absolutely awful definitely DON'T EVER GO TO THIS ONE!!! Management is so rude. They stuffed up my son's meal, so I had to drive all the way up there to get a new one. I explained that he couldn't eat onion as it made him sick and there was onion in this dish. He argued with me, then tipped the box out into a bowl and said there is only two pieces you can't have another one. His wife comes out and agrees with him. This argument went back and forth until finally they realised I wasn't leaving without a new one. He made smart comments while making it. It was the worst experience I have ever had. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The food the rest of bought was tasteless and you get no ingredients. For example, asking for broccoli and you get one piece!!! Do yourself a favour and go to another store. DISGUSTING FOOD AND DISGUSTING SERVICE.
