Sushi Train

Have Sushi from here at least once a week. Either at the train or a take away order. Take away guarantees it is super fresh and delicious, but I have always been happy with the train too. Have never been disappointed. Love the Chicken and Avocado Ngiri. Don't really feel compelled to have sushi anywhere else after having this place!

The plates on the train had brown avocado. We ordered 6 plates of sushi. 40 mins later 4 plates arrived one by one. When I asked about the missing 2 plates I was told “5 more minutes”. Then only one plate came. I was then told the missing plate was suddenly sold out. This place is a joke. Don’t bother going. There are so many better places nearby. Ginga, Hosakawa, Sakana are all miles ahead. I did give the person in charge my feedback but they weren’t interested in hearing it.

Nice little place...clean, hard-working staff in the totally-visible centre-kitchen. Seems like a well-run business...I went with your straightforward tuna/avocado sort of rolls, and it was all good. Best parking is underneath; turn off Sandgate Rd. at the traffic lights & intersection, then it's a quick left into their lot (shops also have a good bottle shop, a boxing-fitness place and a few salons.

Went here for dinner as a group and we had to wait for a table since they don't have much seating that suits groups more than 4 people. We were cramped into one table and was uncomfortable. The variety of the sushi on the conveyor was also very limited, we had to wait patiently for something worth picking up. The sushi rice was too mushy and bland. This was probability the worst sushi train experience I ever had.

Tried this place a few times hoping things would get better but sushi here is below average unfortunately. On my last order, I rang up asking for chopsticks as they forgot to put it in last time ( they charge for chopsticks) and they said no! I said but you forgot it last time and they said no. Chopsticks are 20c and they wouldn’t give it to me. I was shocked. The manager came on and said “ I’ll give u chopsticks this time”. When my order arrived, there were no chopsticks so he lied to me to get me off the phone. I tried calling back as they stuffed my order up and it was all delivered cold, and they hung up on me. Don’t bother going there. You will find better sushi elsewhere with better customer service.
