Miss India

Big fan of Indian food. However the curries I’ve had from here have generally been very bland, tasteless, and our orders have been served incorrectly on more than one occasion.. Last time we ordered from Miss India, Carindale, myself and both of my housemates were extremely ill. Makes you wonder what they’re doing in their kitchen- is it the food, is it the food prep, or is it the general hygiene of the place and the people handling your food? Either way, absolutely would not recommend!

Avoid. On 18/01/2020 I ordered the $6 special naan and was charged $7. When I spoke with the cashier she explained they had increased the prices and these increases were not reflected on the board yet as they were waiting on new posters. No refund offered. It's just poor customer service. Check your receipts carefully. Expensive for what it is. I'd consider other options.

Unclear and misleading business operation on their boards - Extra large bowl does not equate to a family size. $27 for an extra large butter chicken & cheese/garlic naan bread? Yeah, no thanks. The bowl isn't even considered "family size" - it looks like a regular large bowl. Also watch how they serve you. There's more sauce than there's actual meat when they serve you the meal you want. The lady who tried to rip me off was extremely rude when I approached her about their dodgey business operations. Miss India Metropol is an overpriced and shifty business, would not recommend going here. Save your money and go elsewhere.

One of the bad Indian restaurants in Brisbane. I ordered a take away order from miss India Carindale by phone and order was taken by the owner of the shop. When I went there to pick my food the staff said that they have not received the order. When I called on the number , the owner pick the call and stated that the phone is not working and not made the order yet. The attitude towards the customers is really bad. Just wasted my time and food was very bad.
