Zia Pina Pizzeria - The Rocks

OK food, but dated ambience. We came latih at night and were happy to have found a place open and agreeable to all three of us. The pizza and pasta were good, but way too expensive for the simple dishes they were. Also, the place did not look very inviting and the table we ended up in was next to a window with some chilling air. Simply did not feel cozy.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The food was very average and very stingy with pizza/pasta toppings. Drinks never had ice even after the fact of asking for ice after the 2nd round. The owner was rude and staff had absolutely no idea on what they were doing. I’d never come here again - disappointed.

Great place for reasonably priced and reasonably tasty Italian food. Would highly recommend it as an after work venue as it’s more affordable, has quick service, seems well run, has enough space and compares very well with a lot of their places in the Rocks. Nice outdoor and indoor areas. Staff were responsive and friendly. Food was prepared quickly and well.

Used to be the standard haunt for an authentic Italian feed in The Rocks. Definitely different owners as the experience and quality was diametrically different. I am pretty sure the ravioli was reheated frozen food - no texture or flavour. Staff were okay. But manager has attitude and no idea how to run a service business. TOURIST TRAP, beware!

Look, what's there to complain about... Yes it's rustic and the stairs going to upper room a little steep, especially if you are a bit older and less mobile... But what fantastic pizza!! Quick friendly staff... Popular spot in the Rocks... Great for dinner prior to night out in the Rocks and Circular Quay area.

Pizza had soft crust, I ordered the zia Pina special and it tasted like the pizza hut supreme pizza with minimum flavour. The Entree being the Garlic bread came 20 minutes after the main food upon reminding the staff members. The waitress was nice however the food was extremely average for a $30 plus PP restaurant.

Besides bearing my name, I'm a huge fan of Zia Pina and have taken my family and many clients there. Beautiful food, good prices and top place to take lots of photos too. They have great menu items and I need to go back there on my own at some point to take a stack of food photos and more. LOVE THEIR WORK!
