Went there earlier tonight to get some naan and rice as we had cooked our own curry for dinner.
We ordered the spinach and cheese naan and the potato kulcha naan and the girl, over the phone and in person, had said garlic and cheese despite us correcting her three times and so that may have been what she gave us. I wouldn’t know because both naans tasted the same - doughy, dry and thin. There were a few bits of spring onion hastily thrown on top but they hardly added any flavour and there was no way we could distinguish which naan was which.
As for the rice, not what I expected at all. It states on the menu that it is saffron and cumin rice but the amount of cumin in it was so minuscule that it provided no flavour whatsoever. Better off changing it to plain rice on the menu.
I know this isn’t a complete review as I have not tried their curries but judging by the naan and rice, I don’t think I would want to.
*Photo shows the naans after we had pulled it apart trying to figure out which was which. No spinach, no cheese, no potatoes.. How? 🤦🏼♀️

Great food, friendly staff, special thanks to Pratap, who made us very welcome and had good knowledge when explaining the origin of the dishes.
Totally recommended!

Please, don't be a victim by visiting this place by their fake google ratings. The lady waiter who took the order was very very arrogant to us, rather than being polite. We ordered Lassi ( Yogurt based drink ) which is a well known drink in India. It was a total disaster when it came on our table. On this i politely asked the lady waiter why is the lassi too watery on which she replied very rudely ( fake attitude ) in our restaurant we make like this only. Shame on the lady waiter she failed to give a good service to their customers. I told her politely again Lassi is usually made full of yogurt and is a thick drink. Here they are trying to save cost by adding lots of water and just a spoon of yogurt by giving all their customers a drink which is not called lassi. By this they are not only losing the customer but fooling locals too by providing something which is not from India.
If you dont want to get embarrassed please do not go to this restaurant.
Cheers

Been a regular visitor for well over a year, ordering both take away and eating in. Best curries I've ever had, lots of depth in their flavour, and they adjust the spice to suit your personal tastes (also none of that sugar laced fast food style stuff you grab from chain restaurants. The butter chicken actually tastes like food and not the curry equivalent of ice cream.) Pleasant staff and actual parking too. The curries can be a bit pricey sometimes, but the curries are very strong and one portion often lasts me two meals. Recommend 5/5

I live over the road from Raj's Palace, and every day I smell the amazing aroma that comes out of this restaurant. It's seriously very tempting. Have never been disappointed by the food - each curry I've had has been amazing, naan are spot on, and tandoori chicken is the best I've ever had. The staff are super helpful and friendly too - highly recommend to anyone in the area after some legitimate delicious Indian.

The food is really delicious here and the staff are super friendly! I have a very weird order (butter chicken, no chicken, just the sauce) and they remember me and don't hassle me about it! Most places always give me a hard time, but they're very friendly about it! I just love the sauce so much and their's is TOP NOTCH!

The service was great. The prices are good. The food was amazing. I went away full because I was just wanting to try everything. The kids finished everything on their plates and that does not happen as often as we would like. If you love quality Indian cuisine - don't hesitate. Book now!!

Had dinner in fri night family 6 I’ve been a few times & the food is generally V good last nights exp I’d have to add was less than satisfactory, I fear the meat cuts are substandard, fatty & gristle. I had beef vindaloo not up to standard the rest of the dishes butter C, c tikka masala they looked ok however I didn’t try, the rice dishes were dried out & ungenerous servings. I fear the place is slipping .... not good for the location
