Chu Bistro

If you haven’t checked out Chu Bistro yet than l wouldn’t delay any further. This newly opened Pan Asian restaurant is a definite must try and l’m predicting that it’ll get super busy soon. The restaurant itself is so attractive and inviting and the service here matches it’s looks. I feel that the entire crew at CHU Bistro is extremely talented that l’m dying to go back. They have a awesome selection of cocktails but definitely give Cherry Blossom and Vietnamese Espresso a try. Sure to give you the best start possible to your night. Once we had the cocktails, we knew it will be a great night. The dude behind Picnic Cafe at Camp Hill has done it again with Chu Bistro. The food here is incredible and extremely addictive. We just couldn’t get enough of it. All the meals here are designed to be shared making it a great place to just hang and enjoy the beautiful cocktails and delicious food. Meal breakdown: Corn, ponzu, sesame, parmesan, kaffir lime, chilli flakes Pork and chicken chive dumpling, chili oil, spring onion, fried shallots, sesame BBQ pork steam bun Pork and crab Xiao Long Bao, black vinegar, ginger Thinly sliced wagyu rib fingers in black pepper sauce, onion, capsicum, spring onion Crispy pork belly, balinese chili, plum sauce, honey mustard Crispy skin duck, balinese chili, hoisin sauce Fat rice noodle, Chinese sausage, fish cake, chicken, eggs, spring onion, bean sprout in light soy sauce

Im sorry. But i expected alot more. It was very chill for a friday. (Too chill) The music was so slow Food was mehh. (I expected more flavour from an asian cuisine) I only stayed because we planned something there so we had to wait for others. Otherwise i would have left after my first beer. I probably wont be back unless the menu changes, and the vibe lifts 😑 Sorry
