Banh Mee Time

A bit disappointing. Ordered a bún (noodle salad) with prawn and spring roll and a 'young coconut' house made drink and my partner ordered a deep fried soy chicken bahn mi. My salad was good, the bahn mi was ok but the young coconut drink was terrible. I was hoping to avoid buying single use plastic but as you can see by my photo it came in a plastic cup with plastic lid, plastic straw and straw wrapper. I also found it much too sweet for my liking, not sure what sweetener was added. I really only wanted coconut water :(

Standard Vietnamese food that you see at almost all Vietnamese restaurants; noodles, sandwiches and rice dishes. Nothing spectacular that makes this place stand out but food is good. We had their beef brisket pho, crispy chicken rice dish and pork chop rice dish. Service is okay but staff spent more time talking among themselves versus the customers. Safe bet if you want to be introduced into Vietnamese food or need a quick healthy bite to eat. Price is okay. But if you want something authentic and outside the norm, look elsewhere. Conveniently located and restrooms are less than a minute walk to the right as you leave the restaurant. No restrooms available at the restaurant and seating is open air (no enclosed area with AC). Knocked one star for not focusing on customers and lack of branding/dishes to make them stand out of the crowd.
