Leela Thai

I order because I was studying and craving for Malaysian fried rice and Thai. I thought that being only a Thai restaurant it couldn’t ever satisfied by Malaysian needs. THEY DID PROVIDE A MASTERPIECE! Amazing brown fried rice and satay chicken along with superb chilli basil stir fried noodles. Size is so filling and price is honest for Brisbane !

So sad that they no longer offer dining-in. (Hopefully, they do this only during COVID situation). Yesterday I ordered online instead but the Uber driver took two orders, so he drove from Leela Thai to somewhere around east Brisbane before going to my house. The green curry (my favourite) was still piping and delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken satay skewers was lukewarm and I needed to reheat it in the microwave. The flavour was still the same but it would be best to eat while it’s hot. (but I understand it’s not the restaurant fault though). My housemate had Fried Rice and she said she really likes it. I recommend Not to order the noodle dish delivered, I guess it becomes cold when arrive and if you’re like me, you won’t know how to reheat the noodle back to its best. I think curry is the best choice.

Highly not recommend. I ordered a beef pad thai noodle and a beef red curry. And it’s awful.. horrible!!! Noodle is too salt to eat and beef was too chewy! And literally the curry taste was sugar soup… terrible food . I am so regretting that I ordered food … Plus. I am working in popular restaurant for 3 years and i know “taste”. I have ordered nearly 10 times in here with Uber. It wasn’t that bad but yesterday was awful. You said you haven’t get feedback like this. Well then if i were you, I would consider potential problems which can change tastes. I understand food taste can be different even the cook is same. But it was literally disappointing. For better business, you should tying to find the problem and undertake it if a customer said the food taste is not good. Rather than asked the customer to order other places. I wont order here tho
