The pizza was inedible. I tried to call, twice, to let them know that the pizza was in complete disarray, and no one answered. It was a cold, sloppy mess, literally. There were 5 randomly shaped pizza slices, and some slices didn't have a crust. P.s. this was supposed to be half bacon, half cheese 🤷‍♀️ You live and you learn. I have learned not to order pizza from hometown again. Hope this helps anyone thinking of ordering pizza there.

While the community has great things to say about this restaurant, I found myself underwhelmed. When I try a new pizza place, I get the same Pizza. They didn't do as well as other restaurants I've tried in town. I may try it once more, or I may not. I'm always looking for a new favorite.

I live hometown it’s my favorite pizza hands down. I always get the spinach tomato and ricotta. The slices have always been better than a fresh pizza. I moved to New Britain and we decided to get two pizzas and boy was I disappointed. It like they totally changed to a different type of pizza. On top of that the pizza wasn’t even cut.

Excellent deal on a large pizza and salad. HUGE pizza, lots of toppings, and delicious. Even during busy times, delivery doesn't seem to take very long.

RIP OFF! RIP OFF! RIP OFF! RIP OFF! RIP OFF! My initial review for this food business was 5 stars. Their food is good and I truly enjoyed doing business with these folks. They offer a 7 mile free delivery which I took advantage of regularly. My house is 5 miles from their location on Burlington avenue in BRISTOL. I live on Broad street in PLAINVILLE. And this is real driving distance and not like the bird flies. I always tipped the drivers very well to make sure they continue to bring me my favorite PIZZA. 2 weeks ago I ordered my favorite pie and waited for it with anticipation. Then I noticed they had charged me more than usual. Of course I called to see if the prices had changed. The phone guy said no. But they charged me more for a next town over delivery. I would've canceled the delivery but the driver was on his way. This time I grabbed my pie and told the driver to get his tip from the owner. I waited to write this review until my anger subsided so it wouldn't be full of obscene language. Don't let businesses steal from you. Make sure they provide you with what they advertise. Free delivery does not cost extra. I filed a complaint to the CT Department of Consumer Protection. Speak up when a business steals from you. mrkrzysztof

Today I had the WORST order experience of my life from this restaurant. We ordered delivery through Slice at 1:30pm with an estimated arrival of 2:02-2:20 and are now eating Domino’s at 5:30pm. When the pizza had not arrived by 2:40 (because we know things happen and restaurants can be busy), we gave a call. We were met with an apology for a printer error and a promise our pizza would arrive in 20 minutes. When it had not arrived by 3:40, we called AGAIN to be told they would leave then and arrive in 5 minutes (which is physically impossible), but I declined and said I wanted to come in. Upon arriving we were told that our pizza had been waiting for 30 MINUTES and had not left the store. The staff was completely unhelpful and quite obnoxious, telling us there was nothing they could do to rectify the problem and asking US to solve it. We asked for a refund and fresh pizza. The refund was given, but fresh pizza was never put in the oven. We waited 10 more minutes before realizing this because of their incompetency and inability to communicate! We asked to speak to a manager, who WAS NOT IN THE BUILDING. They refused to give us a phone number or to call themselves, but finally revealed that he owns Hometown Pizza in both Prospect and Southbury as well. We contacted him at the Prospect store, told him our experience, and were hung up on. My family and friends will never order from any of these again and I recommend you avoid them at all costs. Pricey, rude, and incapable of delivering a pizza.
