Carvel Ice Cream

My first, and last visit to this Carvel was in May 2022. Carvel smelled like the burger place it shared a floor with next door. My medium cup - soft serve and hot fudge - with the lid was filled to capacity. Tells me the price. Me:That's going to spill all over when I take the lid off. Could you please put it in a larger cup. Server: --> places to the brim full sealed cup into a large cup. Tells me the price. Me: Give me a spoon, I'll do it myself. If this spills I'd like a wet cloth to clean up with. Server: There are napkins over there. Me: No, a wet cloth. --> I transfer to the larger cup. Leaving the hot fudge stuck to the lid and sides. It started to drip so I put it down. Asked for another pump to make up for what's left behind. And another lid for the new cup. Then I paid her. Now.. Server: Would you like a bag. After visiting someone for a few days I traveled back home. I told my local Dairy Queen what happened.... they said thanks for the laugh and the business.

ordered a 6 pack of "Brown Bonnet" (chocolate dipped ice cream in a cone) when it got here i thought i had mistakenly ordered caramel since it was orange instead of brown, the chocolate coating was just so thin it was see through. on top of that all of them were covered in crystalized ice meaning its been sitting in the bottom of some freezer for ages. you're better off going to the frozen isle and grabbing a pack at the supermarket, would be much better quality.

I went there with my family. We had a very bad customer service experience there. The lady who served us ice cream was moping and started scooping ice cream without washing hands. Then she did not make the sundae as it was advertised. When I tried to ask her why it does not look like it should be. She tried to ignore me but then lashed at us and said that she has been making it for a while and she knows how to do her job. The manager also did not address the problem appropriately. As customers, we were very displeased with the situation and did not get ice cream from them. We left the cups at the counter.

HORRIBLE customer service! The server was brooming when we arrived she didn't wash her hands and started scooping our order. I ordered soft serve with two topping she only topped with one and when I asked about the second topping she gave me it on the side. I ordered vanilla bourbon toffee dasher and she put only one layer of stuff without any topping as advertised. When I asked her to put topping as advertised she started arguing that she had made many throughout the day and she knows better. She said she can call the manager and she did. The manager heard what I had to say agree with me but didn't apologize rather he just said he can as her to make it again right as he was not trained to make that. Never going there again.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service! Went with my family to enjoy an ice cream on New Years Eve hoping for a better year and got treated with complete disrespect. I usually dont give reviews but this treatment was extremely disrespectful. I request for the mamager or the owner to please look into this and change the staff. After customers are the number one most priority.
