Urban Tandoor - Bristol - Photo album

We walked in on a Friday evening without a reservation. Impeccable service from warm welcome, efficient order follow up , attentive and waiters were patient to explain the dishes to us. We were fortunate to have Carlos who served our table. They do not have a wide range of dishes in the menu like ma
Not from Bristol, but glad we found this hidden restaurant. Me and husband love their authentic butter chicken. Everything else we ate were super delicious too!! No other restaurant has beaten their flavours yet. Customer service was very quick and we were made to feel welcome by staff and managemen
I enjoyed my first experience of Indian food here. Food was marvellous. I loved my Malabar lamb curry. They did say it had a medium spice level, but it was more mild than anything. Service was attentive.
Absolutely banging! The food was amazing definitely lives up to the hype... and tiktok. Everyone that served us was great and excellent turn around. Carlos was a great waiter and witty (especially in relation to my husbands icecream which he said was delicious). All in all a bloody great night... al
Went as part of a stag group, as we had seen Urban Tandoor advertised through Instagram and TikTok. The food was amazing and the atmosphere of the place was great, with moments calling out birthdays and anniversaries as well as a rendition of Sweet Caroline. Our group was well accommodated for, with
I haven’t been to Urban Tandoor for a few years and it is still one of the best Indian restaurants in the whole city. They’ve expanded the restaurant so there’s more seating now and they’ve also re-decorated. Menu isn’t over-complicated, offering classic dishes and some Urban Tandoor specialities. W
Really tasty food with brilliant selection of curries, starters, sides and drinks. Lots of choice for vegetarians. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was lively and it was very busy, even on a Tuesday, a good sign!
Definitely would recommend! Me and my partner went for the first time on Tuesday for our anniversary. We was gifted with a card, a free drink each and a lovely pudding to celebrate. On top of that the food was really tasty and a generous portion. The staff was very friendly, chatty and create a grea
Amazing food, great range of options available. I wanted to try a new Indian dish and decided to get the Goan Fish Curry. Very glad I did because I loved it! Spicy and flavourful with tender pieces of fish, I definitely want to return and have it again. The decor is beautiful and staff were so frie
Good Indian food and great service. And a nice cosy place to enjoy your meal.
We went in on a whim and didn't have a reservation but the staff soon took care of that and we got a table on the second floor (which was just perfect for us as it was already crowded (and a bit noisy) on the ground level. Service was fast and excellent. We ordered buttered chicken and the kashmiri
Urban Tandoor was a great experience, all the waiting staff were phenomenal - friendly, great banter (read the vibe of our group really well) and were able to explain a lot about the types of curry we asked about. I was a little worried before going in that it was going to be just a bit of a meme ha
The food was delicious and the portions are huge. One of the nicest Indians I’ve ever had.
I’ve come here a couple times and everything is always great! There is more seating than meets the eye, even if it looks full, I’ve always been seated fast. Sizeable menu without being overwhelming, I want to try it all! Staff is always very friendly and humorous. Food is the best Indian I have ever
Very good food. The spice level is phenomenal and hits the spot. Very filling food. Butter naan was amazing but I do wish there was some more options on the menu for the main e.g lamb or chicken keema. Decor is beautiful & love the dim lighting inside.
Indian is Bristol is what I wanted to have for lunch today, away from the wierd going timing of the resturant the food was great and would definitely eat here again
Best curry I've had in a while (maybe ever?!), reasonably priced, good service, nice decor. I tried the guinea fowl dish and it was delicious. Amazing and crispy naan bread.
Where do I start with this place. My husband and I are huge lovers of Indian food and love trying out new places to see what delights they have to offer. Urban Tandoor did not disappoint. From the friendly welcome of the attentive and super efficient staff to the amazing food. The restaurant was ful
