The Gloucester Old Spot - Bristol - Photo album

My visit to the Gloucester Old Spot pub for a Sunday roast was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a delightful meal. The roast dinner itself was a masterpiece. The meat was tender and succulent, and
Really lovely staff, chill space, but most importantly- delicious drinks and dinner! Total vibe this place.
Brilliant local pub, great food, had chicken burger, great flavour. good value, ratio of bun to filling was spot on. Rose wine, dry with ice always delicious. Bar staff, knowledgeable and extremely friendly, super nice. All round pretty special place.
Found this very colourful pub by accident. Clearly it's been redecorated outside recently in a lovely Teal blue, but inside is large, comfortable and the friendly welcome persuaded us to not only have a drink, but a light lunch too. For under £10 we ate beef brisket, Welsh rarebit and bacon jam toas
Best breakfast had in a very long time. Huge portion. All cooked perfectly. Veggie option inc halloumi, veg sausage, hash browns, beans, delicious bread/ fried, eggs, mushroom, tomato. Really very good. thanks!
Really nice Pub with a huge terrasse. When it is sunny, it is just amazing. Big tables are available for big group. Roast dinner is really tasty, lot of gravy sauce and quickly served. Much appreciated The staff is just amazing, smiley and taking good care about their clients Lot of coqtails with re
The old spot helped us to host a corporate event for 25 people. The buffet was fantastic and the staff were so accommodating and lovely. Such a lovely pub with a lovely vibe.
More a restaurant than pub, I think, ideal for large groups of family and friends. The food is fine from a sensible menu. On fine days the marque provides much needed additional space. What make this eatery special is the super young staff. What a breath of fresh air to be served by personable cheer
We visited the Gloucester Old Spot on Friday lunchtime with our two little dogs. We sat outside in the garden which was large and very clean and tidy. The food was lovely and the staff were outstanding! Matt was particularly helpful. We will definitely go back.
Lovely food and very well presented. Could have done with a few light bites however friendly efficient staff and good service. Lovely outdoor area with lights and a good selection of tables. Very welcoming.
Nice pub with a great atmosphere. Worked well for a 50th birthday party. Staff very friendly too. We also ate at the pub and the burger was positively average unfortunately. But overall, I'd definitely visit again and it must be lovely in the summer in the outdoor area.
The chicken wings were super tasty, and the portion size was good. The beef burger was delicious and came with lots of extras in the burger and was very filling. The garden outside is big and a nice spot in the sun, would definitely recommend.
Very good food at a decent price, attentive service and a good range of beers. Pub is clean and bright but doesn't feel modern. Decent garden area too.
Went there for a Sunday lunch. We were the first in so atmosphere was dead (that was pur fault for being so early not the pubs) been here for drinks before and then in the garden it's a great vibe. The roast dinner was on point! I eent for the big one with all the meats ....Plenty of food and it w
Family and dog friendly pub. I have been here several times and never had a problem. It has a great enclosed garden which is sun trap. Just perfect for some food and drink.
Fairly good Sunday roast. The chicken supreme was very good, the pork I think ok.
