Atmosphere is relaxed and music not too loud. Food is good, especially the lunchtime prices. Service has been supreme, especially from Rebecca, who helped turn a potentially stressful outing to a genuinely solid experience. Would recommend highly for a hearty lunch

We went to bar + block for our anniversary and it was so amazing. We had cocktails outside in the sun first then went in where we were seated in a lovely corner surrounded by windows (we love people watching). The food was SO good, for the amount we got (quite a few sides as well as mains) the bill wasn’t as high as expected. Steve was a really great host, we felt well looked after. 10/10 will deffo be going back!

We went to Bar + Block on a busy Friday evening. The service was very good, fast and friendly. The food was hot and the steaks were served at the perfect temperature, the sides were delicious and very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back again.

I have eaten here a few times and service has always been excellent, the staff are super attentive and the food comes out pretty quick. The steaks are always cooked how I like, really good! The best desserts are the chocolate melting bombs!

It was a nice experience having dinner in this place. We were left waiting for a table for a few minutes though. But overall service was fast and professional. I had a salad which was very delicious. I also enjoyed the music that was playing, sort of contemporary jazz, which suits the restaurant and creates a certain vibe.

Very nice place. Stopped for a light early dinner.
Several small plate starters.
Everything was spot on good.
Alas, no amber or dark ale.
Clean & nice staff where smiles were not fake (as far as we could tell)
We would come back.

Great food and service from Benji was amazing! Second time we've had the pleasure of him being our server! Really is an asset to the place. 2 for 1 cocktails 5-7 every day as well! Highly recommend

Fantastic little place. Really well cooked food, (the complimentary popcorn with a smoky paprika/chilli seasoning was awesome too) great service and really pleasant staff. I don't get to Bristol very often but would have no hesitation coming here again. I'd have liked a few more fries but it wasn't particularly expensive so not a biggie. The block burger was tasty and not overdone like many burger places seem to do and chocolate bomb was a nice end to the meal. I was that hungry that I smashed it in before I remembered to take a picture but just go, you won't be disappointed!

I came with a friend for the Bottomless lunch. The food was really good. We had 2 starters to share, we both had the sea bass. It was just the right amount of food. Drinks we plenty full and the the staff were friendly. Very good value for money.

The steak selection is very good.
I had the Cote de Boeuf, which was dry aged for 30 days. It was excellent.
The chips were very crispy. My friends had the dinosaur short rib and the surf and turf.
The atmosphere was nice and quiet.

Amazing experience at Bar+Block Steakhouse Bristol.
Gavin was able to offer us a 5 star service; he was extremely helpful, helped us order the right food for us, and was happy to help us have an amazing evening.
Food did taste amazing and we strongly recommend to visit.

Delicious steak and chips 🤤🤤🤤 Korean wings could do with some crisping up though! The peppercorn sauce is delicious tooo as are the garlic potatoes.
