I've been to many Persian restaurants in the UK. But the food and the atmosphere in Kookoo tops them all. Even bought a few handicrafts from the host, Christien. Delicious food. Reasonably priced. Pleasant service. 10/10.

Amazing food. So authentic and traditional taste. The quality of the food was the highest i have ever tasted in Bristol.

One of my favourite restaurants and Persian food worth travelling far for. Very tasty, freshly made and high quality, great portion sizes. Cosy restaurant, nice decor. Have ordered from Gilan Kitchen for a few family parties, and food has always been amazing and gone down very well. Homemade Persian ice cream and baklava also worth trying. Look forward to trying more things on the menu!

Really great food. Any of the lamb dishes are especially worth trying and they're very generous portions. I have been back with friends/family and everyone has been impressed. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly but not overly so

Fantastic place. Delicious food, big servings, cozy ambience, and really helpful staff. I've tried a few dishes so far, and all of them were equally great. To top it all, the ice cream was absolutely amazing.
