Some of the very best curries that you will find anywhere! Delicious, freshly cooked food made from the best ingredients. The Bengal Raj has consistently been outstanding for many years. Thoroughly recommended!

Good, traditional and tasty. Sag baji and veg biryani I find are a good test , and both were really good. The wait for takeaway can be long but for me it's worth it as this is the best of the 4 or 5 curry houses I've tried in Bristol. It also suggests they're busy which is a good sign. Just phone well in advance. At last I've found a great reliable local. 😊

We got our first takeaway from here back in July 2020 following a recommendation from a friend and the butter chicken was one of the most delicious we have ever had. We made this our ‘local’ despite having 3 other curry houses much closer to us. The food and the team are excellent.

We have tried many Indian takeaways but this is our family favourite. We eat there probably too frequently but have never been disappointed with the food. It is the type of food that you miss when you go in holiday.

It's quite simply the best Indian I've ever had and I'm lucky enough to live around the corner. It's always a good sign when a restaurant is busy and the fist time I ever used the Raj was a Monday evening. I phoned and ordered just after opening and when I went to collect the place was half full. I've had about half of the dishes now off the menu and I've loved them all.
Went there Thursday for a birthday meal & the food was outstanding. Very tasty & great customer service. Most definitely recommend & will be going there again. Thank you guys
This is absolutely the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at.
The chicken pieces are huge, the pickles and chutneys are sublime and the main courses are stunning. To top it all of its not too expensive and the staff are very quick and courteous.
Would definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back!
