Fully vegan, really tasty food and decently priced. They also serve hot drinks and a delicious selection of baked goods (I highly recommend the brownies- they were the fudgiest ones I've ever had and the portions were very generous!).
Loved this place. Food is excellent. I challenge meat eaters not to say the same. Great, very friendly service and quality cocktails. Best espresso martini. And great wallpaper!
Amazing food, really nice atmosphere. Staff were really helpful and friendly.
Had sharing plate- nice range of vegan curries, all very tasty. Followed up with range of cakes for dessert.
Will definitely be coming back!
Great full vegan breakfast - went there with two omnivore friends and they loved it, were really impressed with the scrambled tofu! Not sure it's worth paying the extra for a large one as they looked almost the same size to me! Hard to choose as lots of delicious-looking options, will have to go back. The cake looked gorgeous as well, there were only a couple to choose from but I was very tempted to get a piece to take home.
Beautiful , delicate, yet wholesome food in the heart of the centre of Bristol. I have visited twice and look forward to the next visit. Staff, very friendly and efficient. No gimmicks! just a lovely place to enjoy, and eat `proper` vegan food.
Roots lounge is definitely one of my top 3 places for vegan munchies in Bristol. Their food is delicious, hearty, and filling. The environment is really cozy and I think the food is super tasty for veggies and meat eaters alike. Highly recommend this place!
Today I went for the first time, and I'm absolutely stunned by the quality of the food. We got the breakfast (the vegan English breakfast) and it was fantastic, followed by pancakes which were delicious. I strongly recommend this place.
Beautiful cosy space with great background music, for a second I almost thought I was in the comfort of my own living room! The food is absolutely delicious, top quality ingredients prepared in such a tasty way, good portions and very reasonable prices. Super central location and MEGA friendly and attentive staff. I left Roots Lounge with a smile on my face, and I recommend everyone to go there and check it! :)
Have been meaning to come here for a long long time and finally got round to it this evening. First of all the owners and the lovely woman serving us, were incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable and happily accommodated our large group.
The dhal I ate was really flavoursome and not too oily. Also the poppadom was stuffed with all vegan poppadom sundries, including vegan yoghurt dressing. Happy days! Finally the pudding. These guys are packing Elspeth's kitchen's cakes(!), I tried the lemon and chia "cheesecake",which looked awesome and tasted even better. All in all great time and can't wait to bring others here.
Vegan sausage sandwich was absolutely delicious!! Oat milk coffee also spot on :) ate here with a group of 7 people and service was great. Thanks!
