Delicious brunches, great coffee and a lively, friendly atmosphere. We were able to book a table, and service was friendly. Nice food and drink choices - vegan, vegetarian & meat eaters catered for, and a good range of hot and soft drinks. Easy street parking. We will be back!

This was my first visit; indeed I'd not even heard of it before. It was 3.00pm so I'd guess that their busy spell was over for the day. They close at 4pm. There were a handful of people there, mainly by themselves. There were still a reasonable selection of cakes, including carrot cake with poppy seeds and steamed pear pie amongst others. They were on the counter so easily viewable for choosing. Unlike the drinks menu which was high up on the right hand side of the wall behind the counter, so you need to stand right in front of it to be able to see what they offer. There isn't a vast choice of non-alcoholic drinks to whet your whistle, but most of the bases are covered. I had a latte, which was pretty reasonable at £2.50 for a moderate mug.
The tables were clean and plentiful with lots of room. One person had a laptop out. The drinks were brought to our table reasonably quickly, and the person serving was friendly and helpful. At 4pm we were informed pleasantly that the cafe had closed, but we weren't pressed to the door.
There was some music playing which was loud enough but didn't interfere with our conversation. We didn't even look for the toilets so can't comment. I'd hope that they were as clean and pleasant as the cafe itself.
I would certainly visit Dela again when in the area, situated between St Mark's Road and Belle Vue Road. It's a pleasant, light and airy cafe which has what appears to be a kitchen area area across the back wall, so perhaps does some warm food earlier in the day. I'd managed to park across the road, but could imagine earlier in the day that might not be so easy. Up on Belle Vue Road may prove easier for those travelling in a car.

A local bakery, Dela is a very nice place to have your breakfast this or any other day.
The place is very open. Babies and doggos are most welcome. Staff is very nice as well.
I ordered a green tea, which was lovely, and sourdough toast with butter and marmalade. Everything was really fresh and lovely.
If you want to support local businesses, Dela is the epitome of the kind of place we need.

Lovely food and coffee. Chill environment and staff are mostly friendly. Easily one of my favourite cafes in Bristol.

Gorgeous flavour combinations and warm atmosphere. Small menu to choose from, but everything that came out the kitchen looked yummy. We had mussels, greens, hasselback potatoes and some sourdough to mop it up. The winter berry spritz was one of the best non alcoholic drinks we’ve had in ages.

Always fantastic food and service, what I don't get is the cramped, dark, dungeon-style toilets. I discussed them with several other customers tonight and we couldn't work out why on earth the owners have worked so hard to make the rest of the space so light and airy and then have such terrible toilets! Otherwise though it's brilliant :)

The food served here is extremely good and reasonably priced. The flavours, textures, colours and temperatures of the food are all well considered and executed. The chef was even kind enough to bring me a second poached egg as he was concerned that the one which he had served might be ever so slightly over done. His attention to detail was most welcome and could be seen in all the plates that left the kitchen.
My one and only criticism is that the waiting staff do not smile and didn't say hello or goodbye when I came and left. This could be down to the fact that it's a cold and rainy Tuesday afternoon but I would say that a few smiles at the front of house would go a long way.
A highly recommendable experience all in all. I will definitely come back to try some of the beautiful sourdough bread I saw on people's plates.

Really unique food with a Scandinavian twist; the emphasis is on sharing and the portions don't disappoint. Cocktails are also very original and tasty. Only let down was the wait time for food, which ran over 45 mins. Otherwise fantastic.
