Chew Valley Raj - Bristol - Photo album

Quality Indian restaurant within a local pub. It a smallish seated area, but the food is outstanding. A gem in the Chew Valley area one that must be treasured. I will definitely return soon.
Indian takeaway in the local pub. Nice big menu with good range of options. Very popular and busy on the Friday I went. Food was a little salty I found. Also, rather surprised the balti came without a naan, had to pay extra for that. In my 45 year experience a balti always comes with a naan include
We got takeaway from here tonight as our local was unexpectedly closed but we had our hearts set on curry! We did a fair bit of research before choosing the Raj and the reviews averaged better than a lot of others locally so we placed an order via Chef Online (a very easy process) We had poppadoms
Best curry for a long time. Lovely evening. We will be going back.
Always good food. Ordered online and always ready as promised when picked up.
Very friendly staff. Always had nice food from here. Good portion size. Never take long to make it. Nothing bad to say to be honest.
I've never been a fan of Indian food since I had a bad experience a few years back however the food at chew Valley raj was beautiful, the atmosphere was brilliant amd the staff were very nice.
Seriously awesome food. They cater for your personal fads... I'm not easy to feed but they get it spit on. You should give them a red, you will not be disappointed
Nice food, Traditional Indian. We always visit late night, still the staff are welcoming, Try morgi masala one of the best curries in the menu.
Live in wales and always come here amazing little place
I've had two meals here now and both have been really good. I've been here early so no crowds, great service and great food. The chicken jalfreize was very nice.
very welcoming and friendly excellent food we will return again and again
They are located in Stoke Inn, down the road. Might be good to have some better signs. Copious meals, good flavored, killer-hot! Even the Jalfrezi gives the Vindaloo a run for its money. The Cucumber Raita and Samosas were nothing special.
Possibly the best Indian take away I’ve ever had
the chew Valley raj is a special jem of a place ,even though the pub is actually shut you can still order your food my normal order is sheese kebab starter, chicken madras ,pilau rice plus all the breads absolutely fabulous give it a try
