Al's Tikka Grill - Bristol - Photo album

I popped in here as one does occasionally with family on Thursday 24th October 2019 just after midday. It is an unassuming place, looking like your typical local café, located on the corner as one half of a building which also consists of the Bon Bon Newsagents and Store next door. Firstly, this i
Great breakfast. Very clean and very nice staff. Also a good price! Definitely recommend to go.
One of the best eat in/takeaway places in South Bristol. Have been using Al's for well over 3yrs now and the place never disappoints. Big menu to choose from from weak mild to full on bombay bum burner curry's. 👍
Absolutely the best experience I've had in a curry house that I can remember. Nastalga in abundance and the most welcoming service from Al the owner of 20+ years and Thomas, a very polite soon to be school leaver. Expect a throwback in time, not your fancy posh lights white wall with no character T
First time takeaway from here. Excellent quality and was ready on time as advised. Menu items on the high side of takeout. But none the less really good food. Will definitely use again.
I’ve been eating breakfast & midday lunch here quite often for a few years. Good food at a fair price. And I’ve always been made to feel welcome.
Had a meal here a few nights ago. WOW! it was to die for. I had the biryani and my word it was huge and so flavoursome. My husband had the tandoori mixed grill and loved it. Really good value too!
Best Tandoori Chicken I've ever had. Cooked properly and not dry. All other dishes on point: Tarka Dahl, Sag Paneer, Chapatis, Pathia. The Papadums and pickles a little disappointing though. I Would highly recommend though. High quality indian food with a more traditional indian feel
Good little local Curry house, which also doubles as a café by day. It's a BYO on drinks, so it can an inexpensive food bill. The Chicken Tikka Patia was great, as were the egg rice and various Nann breads. There was quite a wait for food, as the restaurant was packed, but this is to be expected on
Very good value, nice portion size and tasty food. Also the BYO is a bonus.
Lovely Indian meal. Reasonable prices. Bring your own beer and wine.
Oh I love Al's Great Food freshly cooked will cater for BIG parties as well as small. BYO alcohol. Plenty soft drinks on offer. They do whole tandoori chickens which are amazing. Also good range of vegita
Great breakfast and friendly owners staff
1 of the best currys you will have in this area keema rice is so nice staff are helpful and friendly great place to order from after a hard weeks work what treat
Lovely food and great service. Great local restaurant.
Love this place. Yes its No frills and yes the toilets are low grade and Victorian but the chap serving has the best smile and the Lamb DoPiaza(sp?) is as tasty and melt in the mouth as I've had. Reminds me a a place in Derby that served the tastiest curry in weight and with super bright lights th
First night ever in Bristol, staying just down the road. Al's was a real find. Close, inexpensive, friendly staff on a quiet night, but the lamb dansak was perfect for me, not too hot but not insipid, and the jeera rice, a new find, was to die for. Thanx, Al' s.
