Great pub with great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and they do live acts too. Great range of drinks. Dog friendly, garden outside , they used to do food, not sure if they still do. But highly recommend you go in if your on church road
We had mega Sunday roast here for 8 of us all a mix of vegan veggie gluten free and meat eaters and we all enjoyed it.
And they are dog friendly and they have a garden! The staff were friendly, food was great want to come back for sure.
And the music nights sound great too.

Great atmosphere in this down to earth local pub with friendly staff, customers and some fantastic music, entertainment, outside area to the rear and a pool table to boot. What more could you ask, the drinks are very affordable and the pub is very active in supporting the local community and events.
Cool old proper pub! Has a good selection of beers, pool table, retro games machine and plenty of TV's for sport! Well worth a look for a pint or two, cheers 🍻

I couldn’t recommend the Sunday Roast more! Ordered and collected within just a couple hours, the staff were lovely upon collection & the food was exceptional. Every part of the roast tasted amazing, and was still hot when home. Really good portion sizes & all for such a good price!
Really friendly local pub. I'd ordered a Sunday roast which was fantastic. I'd been to the pub once before, pre-covid, and at the time I sat in the garden. I was struck then by the friendliness of the staff and the locals. Well worth a visit, they also have open mic nights and a juke box!
