Lovely little pub with good service!
Fantastic pub. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff
Mint little boozer good pool table staff polite
Masses of parking, a colossal amount of space both indoors and out. Food is very reasonably priced and good quality. There was the added bonus of a having a singer to entertain us under the open-sided marquee - unusual at this early time of day (from around 5pm). Staff are pleasant, the one-way syst
Having recently moved to the area, we wanted to check out this pub. Genuinely impressed. Food is fantastic, and well priced. The staff are always friendly and happy to chat. Locals are friendly too. We now go once a week if we can especially as its only a walk up the road!
Live music, outdoor seating, great beer selection. Nestled in the heart of Bristol. A fantastic venue with free live music from 22.00 everyday. Legendary pub with a flare for blues, jazz and some of the finest musicians from far and wide
Great food, good service, - nice staff / management team. Well worth the visit if in Hallam or walking in the area. Enjoy. (Looks like a good selection of ales).
We came here for food and drink during a bike ride. The food was really good, and the beer good too. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I'd recommend this pub to anyone.
The service was very friendly and there was a warm atmosphere of a proper local pub. The food was good value and quality. For real ale lovers there was Bass and Doombar on offer. I'm not keen on Doombar so didn't try it but the bass was well kept.
Ordered their takeaway fish and chips last night. Very impressed with the quality, presentation and service. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Oasis in the middle of nowhere We were in the area and looking for a pub serving food, after looking on Google Earth the King William IV appeared to be the only pub in the village of Hallen, but Goole Earth wasn’t sure if the pub was closed or not! So not expecting much we drove there. What a lovely
One of Bristol's best kept secrets. Great Sunday lunches and good food all week. Great local atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Can't fault it! good people, great staff and everything you would want from a sports bar. Also New management who have a passion that is hard to find nowadays 👍
Really friendly bar staff. Nice pint and good atmosphere. I will come back here again.
Lovely little pub and very friendly locals. What more could you want with a pint
Under new management now. As of Jan 2019. They have opened a "sports bar" around the back which is usually full. Food is good and great value too.
Nice food, good beer, pleasant staff.
Lovely little pub. Recently taken over, cheap food and good roast. Also a sports bar with darts and pool next door.
Great food reasonably well priced. Very friendly local. Parking can be difficult.
