Quick service, friendly staff, reasonably priced food, and arrived hot. Good choice on the menu, and the tables and the rest of the cafe were clean. Would eat here again

Didn't know what to expect when I walked in. I have to say pleasantly surprised at the breakfast and a great price!! £5.20 at the time of writing. See for yourself on what I received, minus one piece of toast as I was starving. Was recommended this by a student friend, so a great find. Decors a bit naff but hey I was there for the breakfast. Definitely would recommend for a budget breakfast fry up. Egg was cooked perfectly, and I was chef for 15 years. Sausages cheap but all in all a good reflection on price Vs value for money. I'm glad I visited. Thank Oak tree cafe!

I always went here for breakfast. However haven't been since COVID . I think the standard has dropped and the breakfast is not as good . Still a good breakfast , value for money and clean

Eaten here a few times. Friendly staff and good food. Would highly recommend it if you want a proper full English rather than massively overpriced stuff in some of the chains nearby.

It's been a while since I've eaten here, what with the pandemic and all, but I won't be leaving it so long before returning. I'm a big fan of roast dinners; I had the roast pork on this occasion, which was good quality, plentiful and reasonably-priced.

Basic, but a hot, nice tasting simple coffee is all I needed! Breakfasts look amazing and good prices too. Seems popular with locals, felt clean. Park at the Co-op and nip in after your grocery shop!

A Gloucester road not so secret gem. Clean cafe, very welcoming, excellent prices. This is a traditional breakfast/lunch cafe. Simple, cheap food that you can return to again and again.

Good family run basic grub. Plenty of it at a good price. Took our son in after driving him to Bristol for uni. Think he'll probably be visiting again!
