The George Inn- Abbots Leigh - Bristol - Photo album

Visited for some food before heading off to watch the rugby. Staff were very friendly, there’s a nice atmosphere and country modern feel to the pub, there was a nice warm fire going. The syrup had gone on our drinks and there was no issues changing them over. We all ordered different burgers, the f
Our first visit to The George Inn we had trouble getting a reservation for a Sunday roast. The landlord was very friendly over the phone and even though his bookings were full he kindly booked us in. We ordered the Pork and Beef. It was so succulent and the vegetables were tasty in a caramelised oni
This is our first visit post pandemic, and I’m glad to say it did not disappoint. We had the beef and pork for Sunday roast and shared a dessert. The venue looks amazing and has such a warm atmosphere, however, the main attraction, as always, should be the food. Both roasts hit the mark, super tasty
Almost One star off because my beer was not super cold. Lovely Sunday Roast! Great service, awesome staff. Food was delectable although the portions are massive. Definitely have kids ages 5-9 share a kid’s portion over 2 plates cause it’s massive. And if you’re not a gluten, don’t over order on the
Cannot thank the George Inn enough for hosting our Wedding Party last night. Pete and the team were amazing, so friendly and accommodating with all our requests and so helpful throughout the planning stages of our party. The venue is fun and relaxed in a great location and perfect for the type of p
The George Inn threw me a big surprise. I have never stopped here before, but just driven past many times over many years. However, I will definitely be stopping more often in the future. The pub itself was very clean and well set out. The garden area and rooms leading out to the garden were superb
Nice pub and garden area. Sunday roast was average as the meat was a bit too fatty and veg undercooked and overpriced at £19 a meal. Service was ok but they could be friendlier. Coffer shop was lovely though and made a great hot chocolate. Nice pub for a summers day but food needs working on.
Had the function room for my husbands 60th birthday free of charge. All you need to pay for is the beautiful food. We opted for the buffet option which was fantastic! Presentation lovely and served hot and plentiful. Did not scrimp. Staff lovely and friendly and eager to help. Lovely function room.
A pub with a very large garden and terrace. We ate a Sunday roast and the quality was good but perhaps it lacked a little more quantity for me. The waiters were very friendly at all times and they were nice people. In my opinion an interesting site and if you own a pet you will have no problem takin
Beautiful village pub with huge bright and sunny garden, lovely food and plenty of selection at the bar. Great events throughout the year with my favourite being live music during August bank holiday weekend. The adjoining 'Bike Cafe' serves fantastic coffee and snacks. Ideal for a break during dog
