One of Bristol's 'secret' bars where you need to knock on the door and ask if you can enter! Great cocktails.

Best cocktail bar in Bristol. Very tasty cocktails, with proper proportions of alcohol. None of this watered down rubbish you tend to get in most places these days. Very cool atmosphere with very knowledgeable staff. They will make anything you ask them, and it doesn't have to be on the menu. Quite small and gets busy very quickly so it is essential to book, especially if you are a group of more than two people, to avoid disappointment.

Another of Bristol's remarkable collection of truly fine cocktail bars. Hausbar is, like several others, tucked away in speak-easy style. Ring the bell and the curtain is swept aside to admit you to an intimate bar of clean lines and low lighting. Make sure you book if you want a table, especially if there's more than two of you. Water and pretzels are supplied to suggest that you're there to _taste_ their excellent creations (rather than just guzzle too many); there's a level of respect demanded of the cocktails they serve, and rightly so. Ask for advice, discuss what's on offer and you won't be disappointed.

A very well run bar with excellent service and excellent drinks. Suppose to be the first of the "doorbell bars" in Bristol, and unlike some of the others, they answer the door promptly and treat people like valued customers. Cocktails were quite simply perfect.

Absolutely superb staff who know their cocktails. It feels like you're drinking works of art, prepared with expertise and experience. Go and talk to them about your favourite drink and they'll make you something delicious that's not even on the menu!

The epitome of class, an undiscovered gem, my absolute favourite place to be in Bristol. The drinks are second to none and the service is A1, cannot speak highly enough of this bar. Feels like you are in London only more exclusive xxx

Oh hausbar. A jewel of Bristol. I cannot strongly recommending this place to anyone is is a fan of real cocktails/speak easy bars. By real cocktails i do not mean expensive and trussed up alcopops (fruit juice + spirits). I mean carefully crafted and designed modern, classic, innovative and simply delicious cocktails.

Proper professionally-made cocktails, off the beaten track location, formal table service and water/nibbles as standard make this one of the best bars in Bristol. You'll happily spend all night here, but probably only around payday!

Effortlessly cool. A speak-easy style cocktail bar serving the classics and many excellent in-house creations. Be sure to book at the weekend as it can (unsurprisingly) get busy.

One of (if not) the first secret bars in Bristol and still in my opinion the best. Has a fantastic atmosphere and really nice cocktails

Tremendous cocktail bar with knowledgeable and friendly bar staff. It is a classy place. Literally the opposite end of the spectrum from Wetherspoons.

An amazing cocktail bar - a huge selection and the speak-easy-like atmosphere is really cool. Quite expensive, but worth the money.
