Luc's Chinese has been one of the best things of my everyday life living in Bristol. The food is always good, the staff is super friendly, the waiting time is reasonable and the prices are incredibly good. I will miss this place so much as I've now moved away. It is recommended with all of my heart, and a tip is to order the aromatic crispy duck. Yum!! Can't wait to come back to Bristol and visit Luc's again.
Very well priced, tasty Chinese food that always comes faster than expected. Special shout out to their delivery guy who is honestly the nicest delivery person I've ever had - so polite and kind. Local favourite for me.
This was a good experience, not the best but alright if you feel like a chinese take out. The staff was super friendly! Especially the lady who took the order on the phone.
Portions were generous and prices were competitive, but we just didn’t love the food. The chicken sweetcorn soup was too thick (and we had to water it down), the prawn chowmein was really dry and the chicken szechuan was just okay. Overall, good but unfortunately not entering our “regular” take outs.
Great food, friendly staff. Of course thee are some dishes altered to suit local tastes, but then, I know what I'm ordering. Food tastes authentic and reminds me of home, a very high compliment for a takeaway. I recommend the fried rices and Singaporean stir fried vermicelli, as well as the crispy shredded lamb and the fried squid with chillies. (I've tried many, many items on the menu and none disappoint).
I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding service received. We ordered from Luc's yesterday evening and not only the food was delicious but also the service was amazing! My house is tricky to find and the person who delivered the order found it very quickly and has been really professional, kind and lovely! Thanks a lot guys! Receiving such a good service made the food taste even better.
Always very friendly and the speed of service is always excellent. It almost goes without saying that I love the food too! I recommend the hot and sour soup, beef in oyster sauce, fried squid with garlic and chilli - in fact pretty much anything I've had is really nice. Easily one of the best Chinese takeaways I've encountered. Just wish it opened on Monday and Tuesdays too!
Came to visit friends in Bristol for the weekend, who recommended we use this Chinese takeaway. I was impressed with the time of delivery, the price and the quantity of food from this takeaway. When I return to Bristol, I will be using the place again. Good effort.
Luc's provides gorgeous food with friendly service and even delivers to your door if you can't be bothered to visit. The kitchen is clean and the prep time is quick. No complaint.
Definately best Chinese/Oriental takeaway I have been to. First time I have been there it was back in 2007 and I happy to report that after 11 years recipes and quality of food are still top notch. I definately recommend it. Pricing and delivery are competitive.
Love this place! It is a friends local takeaway, they're always really friendly whenever I go in and their food is delicious! Great price and quite quick at cooking it too.
