Great place and great food. Would highly recommend. Would love to visit again one day.
Had a lovely meal here with some colleagues. We sat in the garden with the River Avon behind us. A beautiful summer’s eve good food , great atmosphere
Our party of three plus a well-behaved dog were made very welcome and served by cheerful and efficient staff for both an evening meal and Sunday lunch. Menu choice was good and the evening meal great. Sunday roast was good - the beef, gravy and veg excellent but the roast potatoes and pudding were
Toni provided excellent service across our afternoon lunch. Atmosphere was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed our outing. Luke provided excellent follow up service too. Food and drinks were brilliant and top quality. Guinness was excellent too!
Excellent Sunday lunch, beautiful garden in the sun. The vegetarian option is good (although no stuffing) unfortunately there isn't a vegan roast option.
Our server Toni was exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially when dealing with two food allergies at our table. It's a beautifully decorated pub with a great atmosphere, staff are friendly and the Sunday roast was delicious with generous portions.
Friendly, courteous staff. Being gluten free was no problem at all. Couldn't have been more helpful. Delicious food. Trout fillet followed by panna cotta for an evening meal. So impressed we booked for Sunday lunch the next day. Another excellent meal! Super dog friendly too.
Amazing food and service, great atmosphere, had an amazing evening, highly recommended the trout starter
Came into a lovely friendly warm pub, lovely garden and conservatory, the river is on the bank. It's dog friendly and the pints are nice. We were greeted with smiles and loveliness. We will be back. Big car park too.
Food was amazingggg! Nice atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff ☺️
We had a good Sunday roast at the Lock keeper. The staff were really friendly, the atmosphere nice and 'pubby', and the Yorkshire pudding was excellent. Plus the dog was welcomed too. Great place!
A wonderful hideaway pub, lovely outdoor sitting area with a great atmosphere. Overall clean and well run with courteous friendly and efficient service. Food was fresh, portion size modest and was relatively flavorsome. Good selection of nonalcoholic drinks. Prices in line with the area. Definitely
Stopped off here for an impromptu dinner whilst crewing for an ultra run along the canal. As always I was worried about if there would be a vegan option as I hadn’t been able to look at the menu in advance. Fortunately there was more than one option! (Rare for a pub I find) This salad was delicious
A stop off for a bite to eat ,and the pub didn't disappoint. Really tasty food by a beautiful canal. I had the mussels absolutely delicious 😋. Good range of beers and ales may struggle if a veggie.
Have driven past this for many years. Finally had lunch here on a Friday. Glad we booked a few hours ahead. Very popular and busy. Inside tables in the old building or modern conservatory and also large outside elevated deck. More picnic bench seating on the lawn. Large car park- on arrival found
Lovely place inside and out, nice outdoor space. Dog friendly, child friendly with a good atmosphere. Food can be a little expensive depending what your eating. Staff are professional and polite along with welcoming you. Would definitely say to pop in for some food and drinks.
The main feature of this pub it’s outside seating area. It spacious and dog friendly. The food was good a bit pricey but everything is these days. If you young kids though just be careful as this pub is right next to the river Avon. Lovely nice pub to relax after a long walk along the river
Excellent roast dinner 😊 Toni looked after us very well. 👌
Absolutely stunning food and drinks. Loads of gluten free options, gin and alcohol free!
