Had a really excellent takeaway from here. Generous portions, good value for money, really tasty flavourful food.
Vegetarian crispy spring rolls were lovely and I think home-made, and I had the best salt and pepper dish I’ve had in ages! Delicious!
Really enjoyed the duck & beansprouts - plenty of lovely duck meat. Himself was delighted with King Prawn Crispy noodles with plenty of prawns & lots of really varied veg. Substantial meals from my parents favourite take-away. Not too long of a wait at 6.30 (they open 5.30)

We’re new to Bristol from California so we’re trying new places. I saw other reviews of Golden Gate and being not too far away decided to stop in. Definitely worth it. The food is fresh and fast and the workers are friendly. This has become our go to spot when we’re in the mood for Chinese.
I am what you might call a Chinese food fiend. It's my number one favourite type of take away food, and I've sampled most of the Chinese restaurants in the area, but this place is the best by far! The prices seems higher than other place, but I'm sure the tubs are a bit bigger. 6 stars :)
