Walked a 12 km round trip just to go to Dead Wingers at their new home in the Golden Lion. The sauces are banging, good portion sizes and the corn ribs are bueno. Totally worth it :)

Amazing venue with diverse crowd, bar staff are friendly and competent.
Live music section well paid out. Good sound system for room size. Both as a performer and a punter, a very enjoyable experience.

Fantastic vegan roast with a tasty mac and cheeze as a side.
The vegan doughnuts for dessert were something else!
Staff were also really friendly.
