A kebab as a sit down meal is rather novel in the UK but over in Germany it has been around for a while. Paying £15 for a kebab feels over the top but the meal that is presented is absolutely worth it with lots of fresh tasty ingredients and delicious sauces these jam packed kebabs will leave you full, satiated and wondering when you might come back to try another choice on the menu! We'll recommend a trip or two... or more!

I absolutely love this place. These are some serious kebabs. I’ve never been to Berlin in Germany but the kebabs are inspired by Berlin. ‘Hoba’ is owned by Annie & Hope and While they were visiting Berlin they were awestruck at the incredible kebab houses, with their lunchtime queues stretching down the street. They thought to themselves let’s bring these back to England. It started as a market stall in 2017 and after doing this, serving at markets & festivals they have now managed to open their very own place in the centre of Bristol near the hippodrome. All the flavours are really fresh, the bread is so light and fluffy and the staff were all lovely! If you want a lovely fresh tasting kebab then this is the one for you!

Hoba was amazing! The best kebabs I've had, the 'meat' in the Vegan Stack tasted incredible and their homemade bread was soft and gorgeous. Good beer too.

The sweet potato hummus is particularly good. It's the taste of sweet potato, with the texture of hummus. Would eat again.

After doing some research on where to eat before going to the theatre I found this place on google, and I’m so glad we went there.
Flavours were amazing - absolutely spot on. The food looked really appetising and well priced for the size and quality.
The bread was really nice, and so were the chips. The vegan kebab was outstanding - I would usually go for something meaty but it was my first time trying seitan, and it worked really well in a kebab.
Service was also really friendly and impressively efficient. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Delicious food although they didn’t have the classic kebab bread (they had ran out) so substituted it with chips. Want to go back again for the bread.

Quite honestly a little gem of a restaurant.
The food was absolutely amazing, the flavours and spices we're incredible.
Me and my partner decided just to walk in, whilst visiting Bristol.
Would highly recommend, the staff were friendly and extremely hard working. We will be back, thank you for a beautiful meal!

There is nothing not to like about their kebab. Delicious meat and you can tell the ingredients are all freshly made. Their slaw is really good and well seasoned. If they were more generous with the meat portion, I would’ve given them 5 stars.

One of my favourite spots for a vegan lunch in the centre of Bristol!
