Good quality products and produce, friendly and helpful staff. We’ve been shopping at Matter since it first opened, and I see the love and commitment the owners continue to put into the business. It’s come a long way since it started. They recently turned the top floor into a dedicated cafe area. Me and my partner went for a birthday breakfast recently. The owner cooked the meal himself and conjured up a glorious feast, with lots of thoughtful touches including an improvised birthday dessert (I didn’t give much notice!). Recommended.

Just had a sensational burger at Matter Wholefoods today! Lovely, chewy bread (much better than normal burger rolls), thick vegetable burger/patty that was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, tasty sauces and soo fresh, high quality vegetables. When I saw the lettuce it made me realise how you never get that high quality produce in food you buy out, which makes sense since it's expensive. But that's what makes this place even more special, that the cooking craft is combined with fresh, ORGANIC produce. And still super reasonable prices. Very special. Photo's takes after I'd started to tug in, it was even more pretty when it first came out.

Raw lasagna! Eating this dish is a mouthful experience. I have been a fan of raw dishes for years now, so I'm very grateful for being able to have this available to me in my community. And this right here is an absolute banger! The cashew cheese, the thinkly sliced layers of goodness that was so visually pleasant, and the flavours of the spiralised salad was all a great combo. The portion was a fair size too. And sure is made with care. Big rating on this one.

If you need organic vegetables, fruits or vegan products probably this place is your best choice in the Easton-Fishponds area. Reasonable prices, great selection of goodies, loose leaf teas, helping and vivid staff! Get wrapping free pastas, seeds, flour, even spices. Definitely one of the best shopping places!

Best local shop ever. A true Aladdin's cave of fruit, veg and organic food stuffs. Particularly impressed with the range of never before seen mushrooms and what the owner describes as 'boom ting' lettuce. Every time you go in you'll find something you didn't see before (this time it was the detergent refills station, pictured). Magic!
