Staff were great. Ordered small chips but gentleman serving me was kind and gave me large chips for same price. Food was amazing, best chips I’ve had in a while from a fish and chips shop.

If you eat low carb this is for you! We were on a bike ride and ordered on the app 20 minutes before picking up. I had fish steamed in paper with lemon and dill (plus a salad I’d brought along) with a pot of dressing. Beautiful!
Big group of us sat on the benches over the road and munched and drank cheap pints from the Mardyke.

Best fish and chips I've had for a very long time.
I am usually vege so this was a rare treat . And also fantastic vegan option of battered banana blossom .
The man who served us who I guess was the owner was super friendly .

Always hot, tasty food. Normally have a short wait but that's so they can make sure its hot! Always fresh, nice big portions. Excellent value. Burgers have fresh salad, toasted buns. Best fish and chips in Bristol.
Also added bonus the staff are very friendly and provide a great service! Thoroughly recommend supporting this local business. Before lockdowns had a very happy atmosphere combines with the cafe next door.

One of the best cod and chips I have ever had. Super tasty and crunchy batter and thick juicy cod. Comes with all the trimmings lemon, tartare sauce and I ordered curry sauce on the side. Presented and packed well in nice strong boxes. Definitely recommend this place and looking forward to trying the other fish on the menu.

Incredibly fresh fish. Hands down the best battered fish I've had in my life, especially for what it costs. Total steal, better fish than at least two other fish and chips shops I've tried in Bristol. My favorites are the haddock and the plaice. If you haven't tried their food, please give it a go, you will be doing yourself a favor.

Jack of all trades - So just polished off my second meal from this fish bar and I’ve gotta say. WOW. Not only is it one of the best cod and chips I’ve had, they have amazingly tasty vegan options too. I also tried their popcorn chicken today which was delicious. The menu is really great for a fish bar, certainly some more things I wanna try! (Cheesy sausage 🤤) highly recommend!!! (I’d add a photo but all I have is an empty plate now)

Excellent fish and chips! Great quality, fab friendly owner. Batter is really nice, and nice thick cod, comes with delicious tar tar sauce and a slice of lemon. Been twice already! Recommend it!
