Was there for a few hours, and was 3 really chippies in close proximity, we chose to go nicks and have to say was so impressed best battered sausage I've eaten. I don't like fish but did try my partners fish and it was actually really nice

Visiting Brixham for a few days and was recommended Nicks for fish n chips. A good choice, fresh fish, tasty light batter, nice views out onto the harbour and friendly staff.

Truly excellent food and service. Staff are always ready to help with any query. 2 separate menus, one for eat-in and one for takeaway. Dogs are welcome too which is a bonus!

Came to Brixham for the day with our niece's to go crabbing. We chose Nick's fish bar based on how clean and inviting it looked also because it had the option of eating in. The food was bloody delicious and the portion size was generous, hubby had Haddock and said it was the best he's had in a long time. You definitely get your money's worth. The staff are a credit to the owner and deserve to be recognised especially during the busy periods of the year.

Great Lunch! - Crispy Chips
We were just after a small lunch so decided to pop into Nick's Fish bar. We usually go to Simply Fish but decided to try another place in town. We had the usual Fish and Chips, Battered Sausage and some drinks.
The chips were awsome.
Crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Just how they have to be. Next time we are in Brixham we make sure to have another meal there!

To be honest, we normally go to Rio's, just around the corner but it was closed when we went there around 5pm. The only two chippies that were open were facing the harbour and we chose Nicks. So glad we did! The food was delicious; all freshly cooked while we waited and the cod and chips were perfect, unlike some dried out offerings you get elsewhere. Will definitely be going back next time we fancy a fish and chip supper; absolutely yummy!
