The only place in town where you can catch all the live football, cricket and rugby, play a game of pool for just 20p, and enjoy cheap premium lager. Ran by two lovely publicans who also put on a great carvery each week.

Great local pub, if you play darts, pool or cards, this is the place to be. Excellent Sunday carvery and function room for your party, buffet at a reasonable price.

This is the second year that Harold and I have visited for a Sunday lunch. I have never had better anywhere anytime. Absolutely excellent Sunday carvery. Best to book in advance. Sometimes and occasionally a walk-in is available.

Best Sunday carvery in the area. Choice of 5 roast meats and 8 veg - all beautifully cooked. Will definitely call again. Hope they'll soon serve weekday food too!

Just had such an amazing carvery. Couldn't fault anything it was lovely, we had a dessert as well it was the best baileys cheesecake I've eaten and my husband had the peach and gooseberry crumble with custard. It was all delicious glad we went
