Very pleasantly surprised here. We had a party down the road at a club, (that shall remain nameless), but the club was very busy and very loud. I walked down the road to find this place, and it looked far more our style. I asked if they had space and they were very welcoming, so our party moved across to here. They kept the kitchen open late for us and we're very accomodating. Thank you.

The food was really good and definitely authentic Jamaican, staff was friendly and service was quick. Music was a little loud to have a conversation over, but did go when it turns from a restaurant into more of a bar.

This place is an all-around 5 star! I will always go here. Food is great with healthy choices and something for everyone. Staff are amazing! Atmosphere is great with a change of artwork throughout from real artists.

Very chilled place in the heart of Brixton, with a very nice view on Atlantic road, which in itself can be very entertaining. Great selection of Jamaican inspired food, beers and cocktails.

Great place to relax and chill, listening to the excellent DJ who plays there every other Saturday evening from 9.30. Shame that they don't provide nibbles to enjoy with drinks that are on offer

Lovely space - some outdoor seating and also the windows open very wide so it feels very airy for a lovely brunch. Good food, nice staff and dog-friendly.

Nice place , the music was cool and the service was friendly and quick. The beer had ran out and there was limited selection on bottles. Tried some dishes as well, the shrimps were very tasty, the others just fine.

Comfortable sofas, really nice atmosphere in an anti-racism themed lounge. A decent range of not overpriced cocktails, but they are also not the super fancy type of cocktails, great to have as a casual drink instead of a basic beer or a fancy overpriced cocktail -the perfect middle ground. Would definitely come back here!!

Had a lovely evening celebrating a birthday the platters were ample for sharing and we're tasty for a variety of palates. It would have been nice to have a divider on the platter as if I don't eat meat, I would not have been as enthralled that the chicken was beside the other items. The saltfish fritters were absolutely divine. Music by DJ Ian was on point, everyone was up and dancing the entire evening. Location if loos was a bit off putting when you have individuals that do not close doors and the loo is then visible from the table where I was sat (Thankfully I had eaten already).
All in all a good night out. Staff did not interact in a friendly way, but neither were they u pleasant They just did their job.

Came here with hubby. He loved the food and the atmosphere and I loved the drinks. We will definitely go again but with so many options in Brixton maybe when we have nothing else to do…..

I always enjoy a meal here, I don't feel weird eating alone, the staff are always pleasant, the food quality does vary to be completely honest (from delicious to meh it was better before). But the choice is good, the location is really handy.

Won't be going back. In my experience the staff are incredibly rude and snooty, making my entire group feel uncomfortable. The bar itself is average at best. Considering the amount of choice in the area, I will definitely not be going back anytime soon.

Relaxed and great food. I enjoy it here... you can talk away in comfy chairs, while eating delicious fresh food. Love the Jamaican Platter, the lunch offers, and mmm the falafel burger.<br/><br/>Great friendly helpful service - one thing is the 'mixed fresh juices' are made from bottled juice - not quite the same as freshly squeezed ...but they kindly changed it.<br/><br/>AND its open on monday til 5pm - loads of other places are closed in brixton - perfect relaxed meeting spot.

Very much a place to lounge and watch the world go by. Good place to go for a coffee, beer/wine, lunch or all three. <br/><br/>Food is nice fusion of Caribbean/ European.<br/><br/>Always busy and good friendly service.
