Claymore Restaurant - Broadford - Photo album

This place was such a great surprise. We were heading to our hotel and decided to stop here without looking at reviews or anything. As we were entering, there was a sign saying to be patient because they were short staffed. So I didn't have high hopes for the place although the smells from outside w
We came 20mins after Opening . No need for Table reservation and they have Parking lot. Staffs are really friendly and always smiling. Service is fast and we enjoyed our starter very tasteful. For our main course it’s nothing fancy and tasteless.
Worth the wait. Great Seabream, soup, and fish & chips. Don’t skip the desserts! so delicious!
We had a wonderful experience at Claymore Restaurant. After hiking Old Man of Storr in the wind and pouring rain, it's safe to say we wanted somewhere warm and comfortable to get some wholesome, good food. The staff greeted us at the door and were able to find us a table despite the fact the restaur
We had dinner two nights in a row at Claymore and it was delicious both times! We didn't have to wait to get a table because we got there at 5:15pm but it does get busy and they don't take reservations. Service was very good and attentive. Their sticky toffee pudding is well worth the calories!!!
Cozy small restaurant with good collection of whiskey and great food. Tried the lobster soup and fish and chips today, the food was super yummy! The server and hosts were very friendly and attentive.
Really enjoyed our dinner. Good choices of local gins and whiskies. The lobster and the sticky pudding were great.
What a GR8 meal! Thank you so much Ruth, Megan and your colleagues as well. I had simply the best ever Surf & Turf, Karin had a divine Monkfish main. Did I mention the Cullen Skink soup starter? 🍜
Excellent seafood. Dogs welcome in one section of the restaurant. Staff were friendly and the place was packed. Expect a bit of a wait, as they don't take reservations.
Book in advance to save a seat, otherwise you could take the food away. If you like gamey food their Venison Burger is nice, otherwise I'd recommend the Beef Burger.
The staff was incredibly kind! We went two nights in a row so much we loved it!
The haggis ball starter, that was a brilliant surprise, not that it wasn't delicious but because it was soooooooo delicious. My fish and chips vanished pretty quick. Too full for a dessert. As we left, we had to walk through a throng of waiting clientele. With that in mind. Get there early or y
Staff were attentive and friendly and willing to check any dietary requirements. Food was excellent and nice choice of beers. Best part is it's walk-ins only so you can see from the road if it's gonna be busy.
The food was amazing, the waitress that served us was the most helpful woman. We been travelling for 3 days and I’ve had massive tooth ache and she went out her way to get me some cloth oil. Which meant I was able to enjoy my birthday meal out with my family. Just want to say thank you again for a l
I'm not usually into seafood but this place totally changed my mind. The fish is so fresh and well cooked. The staff was friendly and attentive. You may have to wait a bit longer for a table and for the food as everything is freshly cooked- but well worth it. Was so good we went twice for dinner in
Veggie pasta is good & good service (though they were short staffed when we visited) .
